When most people come to MADtv, they are mostly novices in the industry, with MADtv being their first big break in the industry, but for Amir "Amir K" Kamyab, MADtv is just one of many big breaks he has gotten in his already fruitful comedy and acting career. Amir K has appeared on many tv shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Men at Work, and the revived version of MTV's Punk'd however, his most famous role yet has come in the form of a drama, as he played one of the passport officer in the Ben Affleck Academy Award winning film Argo. Along with his acting career, Amir K has developed a strong stand up career through appearances on Last Comic Standing, Adam Devine's House Party, and his starring role on Jerks with Cameras. His comedic style, which has a strong focus on his middle eastern heritage, has been embraced not only in America, but around the world, as he has performed in China, Korea, and Thailand. Entering MADtv, Amir K will be breaking ground for the show, as he will be the first person of Iranian heritage to grace the MADtv stage.
