You just gave me my answer right there.

P.S. What does the ladies thing have to do with this. I thought jerkin my chain meant like a strict warden who would pull on the chain when everyone was breaking rocks in some kind of prison. I never really got it, but is the reason I never got it due to the fact that it's not what I thought it meant.

I am not sure if everyone here knows or not, but Debra is in Avatar. She is one of the Navi. She does not have a speaking role, but James Cameron picked her to be the prototype for the Navi. When they were first designing the look, they used Debra as the example for the studio. If you look at the book The Art of Avatar, there is a full page color photo of her in the section about the design of the Navi. She's hard to spot in the film itself, but she is in a number of the scenes at the Navi base.

Just thought you guys might like to know!

Hold on a second. Are you saying that Debra Wilson, our MADtv's Debra Wilson is the insperation for the design of the Navi's?! This is huge! Debra is the design (or one of the designs) for the highest grossing moving of all time! I may have to front page this! Thanks for the info CNCC!

Yes, if you don't believe me just go to Borders or any major bookstore and you can check out her picture in the book. She was the model for the Na'vi creature design. The Na'vi were created using motion capture, so she actually acted in the film, you can sorta tell by her face that it is her even though her skin is blue. When she was explaining this to me back when she was filming it, it was hard to understand. After seeing the movie, it makes more sense.

The book doesn't really mention her, just the picture. I got my info straight from Debra.

The rumour is that SNL will be hiring an experienced black female cast member from a former competitor. People here think it's Debra, but I honestly think that it is a false rumour since it was reported like 3 weeks ago, and nothing has been reported on it since.

If anyone lives within driving distance of Ann Arbor Michigan, Debra is coming this weekend. Her film Naked Angel is premiering at the Michigan Theater this weekend and she will be there. I get to be her +1, so I will be attending the premiere/reception with her. She will also be doing another event at the library on Sunday where she discusses her career, like she did in 2005. That would be awesome if any of you guys could come!

dang! I live 40 min away, I def. would have gone! I need to become a regular on this site again!

Debra was in a production of Katie's Corner, it stars Alexandra Billings. It was a live show of it. I wish I could have saw it, I trained under Alexandra for four weeks and she is amazing, and to see her and Debra together would have been amazing. I don't know anymore details on it except it was in L.A.

on debras fb page, there's a video of her as oprah showing what Oprah's last day really was like. I just watched it and its really funny
