Cool, I was waiting for the Payless Shoes commercial to air... It says Mo Collins... I wonder if they have a new sketch with her, or an encore. Did she even appear in #913 opening credits anymore? I dont remember.

Now don't expect any of those sketches to actually air on the right date. The FOX site is never right. I'm still waiting for that Margaret Cho/Macy Gray episode to air.

LOL@Aries as Kelis....that makes two late night shows where she's been portrayed by a man! (Finesse played her on SNL for anyone who doesn't watch the show) I don't think she's manly looking though....

Aisha Tyler (or however you spell her name) guest stars and Ruben Studdard performs. Aisha Tyler guest stars in a parody of Frankenstein movies...the black version. It looks funny.

That'd be cool if they also had her in a parody of The 5th Wheel. That's weird that rockstarjoker never even saw the Bride of Funkenstein sketch and she goes to tapings every week, I wonder if they taped it somewhere else. I'm really glad Keegan's appearing in this episode though.

It could be one of the pre-recorded sketches they show at this Fridays taping?

well in SNL's case, they really dont have a dark woman, unless you count maya rudolph who is forced to play all women darker than albino, and i thought finesse was pretty good. in madtv's case they could have and probably should have used daniele gaither. debra would have definitely done this had she still been around.

Looks like a great episode. Between the debut of Keegan, the Gilmore Girls parody (though hopefully Bobby won't be in drag AGAIN in it. Poor guy, he's actually getting MORE typecast as time goes on.), and the Payless commercial, this should be great stuff. (Though hopefully Ruben's put in the second half of the show so that I won't miss anything by channel jumping between Mad and SNL for a little bit.)

Yeah, usually they put the musical performances near the end of the eps.

Yep, that and the encores, which I'm quite grateful for as a sketch comedy conno... conni... fan. Yeah, that's the ticket.

i wish the shows timed it so that from 11:30 to 12, commercials on one would match the show on the other, so that we could watch both and avoid all the commercials... i hate having to switch into the middle of sketches

well the whole point of MADtv is to compete with SNL, not work around it
