Default madislove's Best of the 80's Album

I'm trying to make a kickass Best of the '80's album. But I need your help.

So far I got:
Dead or Alive- You Spin Me Right Round
They Might Be Giants- She Was A Hotel Detective
The Fixx- One Thing Leads To Another
The Smiths- How Soon Is Now?
Phil Collins- Another Day In Paradise
Mister Mister- Broken Wings

Any other songs greatly appreciated.

So graceful in what you say
Its all I need to hear your voice everyday.

I wish never to wake up from this dream Im in right now.
Here I am watching clouds from your bedroom window
As were laying here.

And I wake up today
Still smiling in the air.
Wish dreams could be so great.

I think these songs were from the 80's:

Beastie Boys- Fight For Your Right To Party (whatever it's called)
Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody
U2- With or Without You (whatever it's called)
Madonna- Like A Prayer (or is this rock only)

I'll edit my post as i think of more

Yeah, just about everything from Tom Petty is good.

Def Leppard was popular back then (Love Bites, etc.)
Cheap Trick--The Flame
The Cars (had lots of good ones...my favorites are Just What I Needed and Good Times Roll)
I think Patti Smith's "Dancing Barefoot" is from the 80's (although, I first heard it in a Millennium episode...liked it ever since)

Damn, I can't think of anything else right now. Rent some 80's movies. I know The Wedding Singer had tons of them. Get The Breakfast Club, etc. Or, even better, search Amazon for some soundtracks of 80's movies. That should definitely help you.

LOL! Yeah, that's a classic. Go get the rarely seen and under-appreciated "Better Off Dead" too. Very funny 80's flick.

My other 2 '80's theme songs: "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes.
