Default Holiday Programming

I freaking love Holiday shows and you know what? I don't really care how cheesy you think that is.
Halloween and the winter holidays have the best television specials.
I love Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer and I have a thing about A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Best. Dance. Sequence. EVER!

OMG, those kids are heelarious.
I like the kid in the middle (yellow shirt?). He's doing a freakin jig but his torso doesn't move at all. Total white boy dance.

I too (as well, also, tambien) like The Grinch (only the original will do), Emmit Otter and A Christmas Story.

I will watch any and every holiday special all year, be it Halloween, Ramadan, Easter, Purim, etc. It could be a show I never liked, but if they have a holiday episode, I'm in! Even the ones for little kids.

Dude, all the clay-mation christmas movies from like the olden days rock my world.

25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family is a good time, because they show like ALL of them. Awesomeness much?

I also like the Cartoons like Frosty the Snowman (1 and 2) and then there was this one I saw about this ornament and it was sad. And this one about some mouse and a clock? I liked that too..and Annabelle's WISH! with the reindeer! I'm such a loser!

I agree Nik, I watch it nonstop.

But I must admit I am NOT a fan of Frosty, either one, because he acts like a mongoloid and frankly, when he shouts "Happy Birthday", I want to yell "It ain't my birthday mutha f****r!" and rip out the nearest person's jugular.

Anyways... anyone like Robbie the reindeer?

The Charlie Brown Christmas Special is good but their Halloween and Thanksgiving Specials were better in my opinion

Psh, the Yule log is OVERRATED...yea, I said it! I have a fireplace, so therefore I can put a yule log of my own while watching something else on my TV, like an old episode of Maury where some dumb, confused white girl named Kaitlin is accusing Darnell, a crack-smoking gangsta, that he IS the father of her twins, Makalah and Tray'vonte!

Not to mention I never enter the holiday mood until December 12th...

The 12th specifically? Seems that you have an internal holiday timer, cool.

I have never seen the Christmas Story once all the way through but I know it word for word because of its dominance on TV and TBS specifically around this time.

I haven't watched the cartoons/claymation movies in a few years. I look forward to festive TV show episodes like the Simpsons or King of the Hill.

the only thing i dislike about the american christmas programming is the fact that theres no shows to download till next year(bye bye veronica mars, lost, heroes, anything else i enjoy)
its a catch 22 though, cause sure....i don't get to watch my fave shows, but it also means i can catch up on downloads and not be behind and actually sometimes shut off my torrent client
oh and yay for xmas movies
