[MADtv] New Opening Credits?

what are some of your ideas for opening credits for season 11? my idea relates to fractals or something flashy like that. BTW, a "friend" of mine just said that we (here at the forum) have no lives, so i told her to go to hell!!!!!

thanks for that i guess... but i want it to be more MAD and less SNL... so i'm saying for it to return to its ruits and maybe grungier because of the punk rock explosion

I think that, although it would be like SNL, they should get away from the still pictures of the cast and put them in a setting like SNL's credits have for a while, when they're out an about. At a party or something.

I like it the way it is and think they should keep it that way. showing the castmembers and parts of the sketches they have been in.

Yea even though I've gotten used to the current open three is enough but as long as they don't make it like SNL.When something's original it's cooler.

I think it would be cool if they filmed the credits and had each castmember walk out on stage.

I really like the opening credits the way they are now. However I think a change would be very very cool and I wouldn't mind at all.

I don't really mind the Credits, though I love it if they'd get rid of the Announcer and Audience cheers,
we can read the cast names and it just drowns out the MADtv Theme Song

I kinda like the cheers from the audience...it shows you who's their favorites are.

I wouldn't mind the announcer going away but I don't mind that they use him now...

As for season 11, I think that it's time for some new opening credits.

Dropping Alfred and the MAD Magazine drag was the best thing to happen to the show. It was totally weighing them down, and the show would not be like it is now.

Actually, I liked the MAD Magazine feel to the show. I wish they had kept it.

I think it would be cool if for season 11, they all had some sort of coordinating costumes on in the opening credits. Like I think it would be cool if the cast came out in like 1920's clothing or something. I also think that they should lose the obnoxious announcer and just show the names on the screen like in previous seasons.

To me, the credits is what gets me pumped up for the show - they're eye catching, the applause and the announcer get me excited. That's why season 5 & 6 credits didn't get me as excited about the show (even though some of the best material came out of those years).
