Star Trek

So JJ Abram's Star Trek movie comes out in a few weeks, and I'm hearing good things about it. And that's awesome... since other recent TV-to-movie movies weren't that good (Transformers sucked, Dragonball Evolution [supposedly] sucked, Avatar is undoubtedly gonna suck).

I think JJ Abrams is underrated and isn't given enough credit at least for trying. He's very creative and imaginative. I mean like with Cloverfield that got so much controversy but the point behind the movie was to portray how irrational people behave during a disaster like that. I'm pleased to see Zachery Quinto in the Star Trek movie as Spock; it looks pretty good so far ^_^

The movie comes out tomorrow. I can't wait!

I know a lot of people compare it to Transformers since this movie is doing what that movie did, but this one looks WORLDS better, mostly because IT DOESN'T GO HALF THE MOVIE WITHOUT ANY FUCKING STAR TREK CHARACTERS!

I'm about to out on Star Trek in preparation. They're about to air First Contact on Sci-Fi, so I'm gonna check that out, and they've been doing an all-day marathon (I mean, it's Enterprise, but that's pretty much the only one they're airing on TV right now. )

It was very good. I'm no Star Trek nerd, but I picked up on a lot of the references to the mythology behind the series. It was pretty damn good.
