Default Gillian Vigman Gets Another Starring Role

Gillian Vigman has been cast in yet another new comedy pilot. She joins the recently cast Tom Cavanagh in the CBS pilot called "My Ex-Life," which focuses on two divorced couples. Gillian is signing on to the project in second position, which means she will only continue with the new project if her current series (ABC comedy "Sons & Daughters") is not picked up for a second season.

What this all means is that you're very likely to see Gillian in a regular role on a sitcom next season, which is good news if you're a big fan.

This scares me. Only because I really really like Sons and Daughters. maybe she can multitask. It would be ard to see her leave S&D if it gets a 2nd season.

Lost co-star Cynthia Watros has been tapped to star opposite Tom Cavanagh in CBS' comedy pilot My Ex-Life, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, from 20th Century Fox TV, centers on two best friends (Cavanagh, Watros) who happen to be a divorced couple sharing custody.

Watros replaces Gillian Vigman, who originally was cast in the pilot.

Watros is doing My Ex-Life as a guest star because of her commitment to ABC's hit drama Lost, on which she is a regular.

However, the guest-starring turn in the CBS pilot is sure to raise speculation about the future of Watros' character on Lost, Libby.

Hey I was just going to post in this thread about another cast member from Sons and Daughters getting a new pilot but now Gillian will be staying put I guess.
I wonder if she dropped out to stay committed to S&D.

Even though it would have been good for her to get another starring role, I"m kind of glad to see her drop out, only because I love her on Sons & Daughters. Easily one of the best comedies on TV right now.
