Don't you understand yet you clod, most of us Canadiens fans know were not going to win the cup, unless some miracle happens, but we don't care. This is the farthest we've gone since 1993, and were going to enjoy it for all it's worth!
Also, if you haven't been counting Nemisis, now that the Canadiens have made it, every team except for Toronto (which is understandable since they really suck) has made it into the confrence finals since the Canucks did it in 1994. Does that add to the Canucks failure? Pretty much. Vancouver Canucks, the Maple Leafs of the west (only without the championships ![]() __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)

Please explain how it's logical to be happy about not winning a competition.

Simple. 8th seeded team, lowest point total of all playoff teams, Confrence Finals. Do I have to draw you a diagram (because I don't know how to draw on here)?

Unless it results in a Stanley Cup win, you guys are still a bunch of high-falootin, French-speaking losers, much like the Canucks.

I don't think the Canucks speak French (in fact I know it, since we don't really speak French out here). And how dare you say French! As a born Angelo Quebec, I resent that! Also, you ask any pundit, or hockey insider, almost all of them will say that no matter what, the Montreal Canadiens have achieved success due to their long playoff run, their beating of the President's Trophy winners after falling behind 3 games to 1, and now their beating of the former Stanley Cup champions, and regardless of a championship, this will be considered a win season. The ones who disagree probably have a bias against the Canadiens.

I know I'm all Canadiens on here, but I'm amazed by what the Philadelphia Flyers did. Only the 4th team in North American sports history to come back from a 3-0 deficit. Now we will have the two lowest teams in the NHL playoffs, who finished with the exact same record facing each other, with the 7th place Flyers having home field advantage. I think every expert is flabergasted over how this happened.

1. How so and...
B. You can't be so mad at hockey that you would actually go to basketball. I mean, that's a little drastic. __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)

Jimmy Howard sucks, and apparently, so does Crosby. I don't care about any of the remaining teams; ergo, hockey is dead to me until next year. Fortunately, I've always been a bigger fan of basketball, so I'll survive.

Congratulations Scorp and Nemisis, your Washington Stealth lacrosse team just won the 2010 National Lacrosse League Champion's Cup in just their first year. Now I know what you 2 are probably thinking. Who or what is the Washington Stealth, do they play in Eastern Washington or something, what's this lacrosse, and why does it have a league? All valid questions.
And side note, they beat Toronto, so looks like there's another sport's team that Toronto has that can't win, bw ![]() __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)

I was not aware of this league, team, or competition. That is all.

Meh, they made it to the confrence, when you look at the fact that they just got in and took out the best teams, that's not a bad end to the season. Besides, with Cammelari and PK looking stellar in the playoffs, it's a good sign for the future, after a long time of mediocre seasons, the puzzle pieces finally look like they are falling into place. It's a good sight to see, and when you think about how horrible Toronto is, you can't help but feel happy that they are failing so badly at rebuilding, and the Canadiens are doing the exact opposite.

Hmm. So the exact opposite of failing to win a tournament is failing to win a tournament one round later? Interesting...

When the other team finishes last in the confrence and 2nd to last in the league, and didn't even have the draft pick to console them with because they sold it to in division Boston in a mindless trade, and were pretty much in the same position as the Canadiens were at the beginning of the season, yeah that's about right.
