Eric Price in Action Auto webseries
Hey all,
I'm one of the co-writers and co-directors of the upcoming Action Auto webseries about low-end used car salesmen, co-starring Eric Price. I wanted to post a link to the trailer here, but also talk about how awesome Eric is, both in the series and on the set... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBUHRTqcjtc&fmt=22 We lost our initial actor for the "Corbett" part (a guy named Corbett, natch) about three days before shooting started, so the first time I met Eric was on the set, for the first day's shoot. Dude, did we get lucky. Eric came in, on a day where we were just shooting "selling to camera" ad-lib intros for the episodes, and the guy KILLED right off the bat. Seriously, there were takes ruined by crew members laughing their asses off. In fact, if you look closely at the first shot of the trailer, the shoulder of the "customer" he's selling too starts shaking with laughter as Eric says his ad-libbed lines. And that was just the beginning... he brought ad-libs all the time that far exceeded his scripted lines, and his presence made the other actors open up and have a blast. The amount of amazing additional stuff he did that we needed to cut for time is amazing. Rest assured, we'll be putting that stuff up when the series (finally!) comes out on in March on a well-known (but for the moment, unnamable) web site. And add to that, the nicest guy ever. So easy to direct, so easy to hang out with. In short, pure dynamite all the way around. And, having been around talented actors for many years, I can say this can be quite rare. Anyway, hope you enjoy the trailer now and the series in a few weeks, but keep your eye out for Eric. The dude is bound for big things... Greg |

I saw that trailer first time already last year, and it was great. I thought the show was supposed to start in January. Well, hopefully it's worth the wait
 Where the episodes will be then?

Well, fortunately, the delay is because of good things... A gigantic company is now involved on a corporate level, and they're pursuing advertisers/sponsors so that we can get production money to make more, which is paramount. I can't wait to get the guys together and back to shooting...
It's frustrating, with three eps in the can, sitting around, but corporations have their own schedules, alas. Anyway, they'll be up in March, but I'm not supposed to say where just yet (which seems silly, but whatever)... You can bet I'll let you guys know ASAP! Greg |

Really!? Well that's good to know! He is great, it's too bad the shows ending soon because he was going to have a great future on it. Are you going to be an extra in any of the final few episodes? I ask because MADtv family members often make appearances like that.

Just doing a little housecleaning here. (Dammit, where's my naked-lady dustpan?
 ) Anyway, since the "Action Auto" thread has been in the General Forum for a few weeks, I think most of the regulars have had a chance to see it by now. Therefore, I figured that now would be a good time to merge it into Eric's cast profile. It's like magic.
