According to that futurama fan website it says that Nicole was supposed to do the voice of Leela before Katey Sagal....

BK=Before Katey Sagal It would seem upon reading my Autographed script of the first Futurama episode, (with deleted endings and stuff you never knew or names you have yet to know) and it shows who was to first play Leela, our wonderful and beautiful cyclops. It seems Nicole Sullivan was to play Leela. Could you imagine her as Leela? Well Nicole, if you read this, send me a sound byte with what you auditioned with? I would love to hear it.

OK I know this is really random, but does anyone know of any sketches Nicole totally cracked up in? I remember the O'Malleys... the "look at my nuts" one, but I don't really know of any others.

In one of the "Literally" sketches, Michael McD, Nic, and Christian Duguay are in a movie theater. I forget exactly what Michael says, but Nic and Chris are trying in vain not to laugh at it. It's no use, for they both break character.

Then there's the "Celebrity Survivor" spoof from this past season, the sketch in which Nicole guest stars as Meg Ryan. In the outtake at the end of the show, McD, playing Dr. Phil, flubs a line (some double entendre about his "log"). I believe that Nic suppresses a giggle before breaking character and informing him that "that's not even a good pun."

And now that I've exceeded 10 lines and thus broken a cardinal posting rule, I will now shut the f**k up.

Sorry, my bad! I thought I read something in the announcements about not making our posts more than 10 lines long. Well, I looked again, and the rule actually refers to excessively long signatures. Like, duh-eeh, that would make a wee bit more sense! Shucks, HiVolt, I'm from the South:alien:, and us Southerners ain't got the sense God gave an anti-suicide hotline employee...hee heeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Thanks mizzimad!! I wanna see the Celebrity Survivor sketches/outtake so bad! All I can find to download is the intro. Maybe they will re-air it soon since season 9 is coming to Comedy Central. I love it when they crack up.

I think she also cracked up in the annoying parents sketch with Debra. You know, the one with Mike and Mo in there underwear. They were trying to not break character, but they couldn't help it.

Yep and in that same sketch, Debra also lost it when Michael was talking about his "nuts". Nicole held it together until Mo said something about the turkey smells done, and then you could just see the wheels come off. lol. Then Michael started slapping his belly and that was it. She was struggling too when they went over to the dinner table. You could see the smirk on Michael's face.

So anyway that's the play-by-play. LOL. So freaking funny.
I would love to have a DVD with nothing but bloopers from the show.

I just saw this episode this morning on Comedy Central. Christian asked which kid was theirs and Nicole said they didn't have kids. The line Michael said that cracked them both up was, "I'm so impotent, that I blow air bubbles out my urethra, literally."



There was another line too, that Nicole almost started laughing on. Mo didn't get alot of camera time on that sketch but I imagine she was laughing through alot of it. lol.

BTW, Nicole's final episode was also on this morning.

Yeah, I saw it too, Nic_N_Mike Fan. What I also noticed is that Nicole does a fairly good job of holding in her own laughter until she turns around to see Christian with his face covered. I mean, yeah, she obviously finds McD's line hilarious; however, it's not until she turns around that she loses it for good. At least that's how it appeared to me; then again, for only the second time in my life, I might actually be wrong. I was wrong about the first time I thought I was wrong, but that's another story.

BTW, considering that I'm a McD fan as well, I refuse to believe that there aren't a few outtakes in which Michael laughs at something Nicole says or does during a sketch. Hope the "MADtv" critters dig some up and issue them on future DVD comps. That way, someone can buy them to give Magic Johnson for "Kwan-zay"...hehehehehehehe.

LOL. Yep. I noticed that as well. I think she would have been okay if she wouldn't have turned around and looked at Christian. And since I have analyzed this sketch thoroughly, lol, I've noticed a few times when she wanted to laugh. Here's what I saw:

1. When Mo told them to shh, right before Michael started his next line Nicole tries to hide a smile.
2. On the Rosie O'Donald line she was about to laugh
3. When Mike started the Richard Simmons line she tried not to smile.
4. And of course the impotence line that screwed them all up.

What I wanna know is if Michael just says this stuff that's not in the script to trip her up. Because from her reactions, Nicole acts like she's never even heard it before.

P.S.- I also noticed that when Nicole had to stop her line, Michael started smiling/laughing and then they cut to Christian. When they cut back to Michael and Nic, he was still smiling.
