LOL, Cameron always has something completely inappropriate to say at some point during an episode.
Cameron - "There's something alive up there [in the chimney]" Sarah - "Is it something that can hurt us?" Cameron - "It's a bird, I'll kill it before it flies away ![]() Sarah - "No ![]() Cameron - "Maybe later? ![]() Sarah - "Maybe never" Cameron - " ![]() __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Yeah, fuck Joss Whedon for making a show that's (relatively) cheap to produce in a time where money is sparse. That bastard!

I lol'd at s02e06 when it was implied that Cameron is an Aspie. She's got social awkwardness and retard strength. I think we can conclude from this that all Aspies are actually reprogrammed robots from the future

LOL. I just finished S02E16. This show sure is getting... X-Filesy.
Also, was there any reason in the plot as to why Cameron randomly walked across the screen in her underwear or was that the way of the writers for apologizing for 3 episodes of Sarah bullshit? __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Cameron's ubersexuality and the effect it has on John is one of the many things weighing on Sarah's mind, and that scene occurs during the nightmare portion of the episode. Pretty shameless (and honestly, as ragingly flaming as it sounds, not the kind of thing I want to see), but it makes some degree of sense, so I've come to accept it.
Consider the Sarah/X-Filesy episodes an unfortunate (but mercifully, brief) diversion. From here on out, the show returns to its roots and begins firing on all cylinders. Watch E17-E19 back-to-back if possible. Amazing. ![]() __________________ /bw |

I've go today off, you best believe I'll do a 3 hour Glauathon.
Also I think that link you made is *really* tenuous. The writers played on the fact that John finds Cameron attractive for a whole of like 5 minutes in the first episode of the series I think. Ever since then I think John just assumed she has no vagina or some sort of dangerous robot vagina and has been all about Riley/being emo. That scene was the only other time I can remember John noticing Cameron from a physical perspective. IMO, at this point Sarah is much more concerned about that douchebag Riley's impact on John. To me it seems like she sees Cameron as being on her side, except when it comes to killing small animals/sometimes humans. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Lovingly brushing her hair aside after removing her chip, the look on his face when he sees her playing foosball as "Allison", the bedroom scene, Sarah's "I don't like how he responds to you" line from the same episode, his reaction to her in the very scene we're discussing, etc. He's conflicted, what with the attempt on his life and the fact that she's a cyborg and all, but his desire for her is well-established. As for Sarah, Riley may be the more immediate, pressing concern, but whether it's valid or not, this is absolutely something that's weighing on her mind.

I don't know how I managed to forget about all of those things but I'm still not convinced. I think Sarah is more suspicious of a friendship or trust that John has in Cameron rather than anything more than that. I like to think the whole thing with Cameron in bed was the writer's way of throwing the viewer for a bit of a loop but I just don't pick up the same vibe there as you do.
Also I'm on episode 19 now. Quig is a fucking badass. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Founding member of ![]() ![]() |

But, I'm just speculating now. Go your own way if you must, but know that the two of them constantly discuss this in interviews, and I think they'd be the authorities on the matter. If you still don't believe me, I'm confident a night of YouTubing will change your mind. ![]() Anyway, be sure to post your thoughts on the trilogy when you're done. ![]() __________________ /bw |

Meh, maybe I'm just refusing to see it because I don't want it to be this way. If you figure that a male terminator was sent back in time to protect John, I wonder how different it would be. It would just kind of irk me if John's decisions could be significantly altered because the robot sent to protect him just happens to have a pretty face and lovely brown hair, and a small yet shapely a... what was I talking about? Oh yes, it would seem sort of crass to me that so much could hinge on the physical form Cameron takes.
BTW, the gulf between John and Sarah might have also have to do with Sarah passing (perhaps a bit too seamlessly) between batshit crazy and regular Sarah crazy. The insomnia episode and the flashback/bullet wound episodes were practically standalone and left almost no mark on how Sarah was perceived by the family afterwards. I finished the trilogy a few hours ago. I'd say they were probably among the 3 best episodes so far. The flashbacks (or forwards) were much more meaningful than they typically are. The tense scene in the garage between Cameron and Riley was just plain awesome and the... resolution of that problem was sorely needed. Also I think I'm kind of glad Derek's chick is gone. Her "tough chick' walk and strange lip contortions were approaching Riley levels of annoyance. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Agreed 100%. I also loved seeing John finally shed his pussy and become a man. I also loved seeing Riley... resolved. I also loved John Henry's latest interactions. I also loved the aforementioned Cam and Weaver quotes. I also loved Stephanie's final performance as Jesse, as much as that pains me to admit. I also loved "the plan" and that I didn't see it coming. I also love that, when this show builds to something, there's a payoff. Lost. ![]() By the way, another thing you may have overlooked that I can now point out: When John's about to break down, he turns to Cam first, gets the cold, unknowing robo-shoulder, and only then collapses on Sarah's lap. Subtle, but it's there. __________________ /bw |

Listen, I'm sure Fox has a lot less expensive shows that they must produce. We need at least 2 more cop dramas per season, a handful of reality shows and some game shows (because motherfuck paying a room full of writers, that's why).

And let's not forget the extra three medical dramas per season now that House has blown up. It's important that we see the exact same shows and storylines every day of the week on every network, except, with a sassy *female* doctor instead, or perhaps a sassy Hispanic district attorney with a clubfoot. Keepin' it fresh in the '09!
