[MADtv] When is MADtv Coming back on?

Well it seems like most of the shows like CW MONDAYS (Comedy Series) are going CW SUNDAYS and now i was just now watching a encore of MAD TV and now Spike has a NEW EPISODE!!! so does anyone have any new *news* about MADtv having new episodes, because some shows are having NEW Episodes like COLBERT, JOHN STEWART and they don't have writers. so does anyone have Information.

MADtv will return once the writers strike is over and if FOX doesn't decide to cancel the show. COLBERT and JON STEWART don't have writers but they themselves are producing the material for the show (some say they were pushed by the networks to return to work). Rumors have been going around that Spike Ferestein's show is using non-union writers to provide material for the show but of course there is no confirmation of whether this is true or not. If anything, shows that are continuing to air new episodes are only doing so because they were able to produce enough episodes to last them before the strike began.

The Directors Guild struck a deal with the Producers that fell along similar lines with the Writers Guild, so there's a very good chance of the strike ending soon.

Soon I hope... I wonder what FOX will do after they re-air #1308, maybe Season 12 reruns or maybe they'll restart Season 13 again
