Nicole Sullivan, Michael McDonald and Taran Killam will appear on the series finale of Scrubs. Here's the source.

I wonder how Nicole is going to be on the show considering they killed off her character 3 seasons ago. I actually watched that episode (the one where she was killed off) last night. They never should have done it. Not because it wouldn't have worked, but because it's Nicole Sullivan. I just hope they manage to have Michael and Nicole in the same shot. If they both said literally in the same shot that would be heven!

This is kind of funny, because for the MADtv finale we don't get Nicole, or Michael, but we get them for the Season Finale of Scrubs.

And another thing too, it's credited under "season" finale, not series. Hmm.

Yeah, it's not completely sure if it's a series finale or just a season finale. But after this season Bill Lawrence and Zach Braff are leaving, no matter what. So I'm pretty sure it won't be coming back for season 9.

What scrubs ??? or madtv???

because scrubs could come back without JD but you know Viewership has already decline, would be best if not show it.

It was announced today that ABC is seriously considering bringing back Scrubs. However, due to many members of the cast already finding new pilots, it is unknown who would return.

Sarah Chalke has been hinting that she would return, and Zach Braff has said that if the show returned, he may return for a couple of guest spots.

Except for them, and maybe minor charcters like Ted, or the Todd, it is unknown who would be returning. I think that the actors that would return full time to the show as of now include Sarah, Ken Jenkins, some of the interns actors, minor characters like the Todd and Ted, and then anybody from the main cast who's pilots fail. I'm not too sure if this will work, but after losing both Corner Gas, and MADtv, it would be nice if I could not lose another one of my favourite shows.

For those of you Scrubs fans out there, the episode that was suppose to run, but was cancelled due to Obama's "Look at me!" Conference is going to run on May 5th. One day before the SEASON finale. That means it's a two night 90-minute Scrubathon next week!

I watched the Scrubs finale and I'm re watching it right now. I was a little disappointed that Nicole, and Michael did not have a larger role in this episode, but I was pretty happy to know that when it comes to patiants, Nicole's Jill Tracy character was technically the first one that J.D remembered. Also, if any of you are watching it right now, Michael is actually in the very last shot, asking for a hug from series creator Bill Lawrence. He would be to the left of your screen.

As for the finale. It was ok. It wasn't a Seinfeld, or King of Queens finale, but it was pretty good. Just not one of the best finales I've ever seen. Then again it may not be a finale, just a season finale.

Usually series finales are dissapointing, but not this one. This was perfect way to end the show. The future montage was incredible, it got me to tears. I'm so going to miss these characters and the great chemistry between actors and actresses.

If there will be season 9, I won't be watching. This was my finale.

I'll watch season 9. I don't like to give up on shows. I'll support Scrubs in which ever road it wants to take.

I've been reading comments on TV Guide, and I'm starting to think that I am the only person in the world that would watch a revamped Scrubs. Why I would watch it is because Bill Lawrence is in the negotiations for this. Bill brought all of these characters to life for us. He created them, and I trust that he can still make it good and funny even without J.D. Also, after the endings of Corner Gas, and soon MADtv, I really don't want to lose another show, I don't. Though I will watch a revamped Scrubs, if the show loses it's magic, I think I might have to jump the boat, however as I have mentioned I don't like to jump off the boat when it comes to shows. I guess we will have to see.

In an TV Guide interview with Bill Lawrence. Bill introduced what the new Scrubs is going to be. Sacred Heart is going out, and in it's place will be medical school. A group of really big newbies will be followed as they go through medical school, but there not just going to be taught by any old teachers, as the 2 teachers, the medical and surgical teachers, who will lead the new docs into doctoring will be non other than...

Dr. Percival Cox and Christopher "Duncan Donuts" Turk! After both John C McGinley's, and Donald Faison's pilot project were not picked up by any networks, I guess they chose this very viable alternative. Bill also said that Sacred Heart will remain in the picture, and that most of the other members of Scrubs will appear throughout the season. Bill also says that ABC is pressuring him to get a big name star, as in someone who is semi-well known. With the fact that the shows on ABC, and ABC is linked with Disney, I'm wondering if it's going to be someone from a former Disney show?

I actually like this idea. I mean, J.D said that he spent 8 years in medical school (the same length as Scrubs went), so I guess they can do this for another 8 years. I don't think this Scrubs is going to be as bad as people are thinking, but I do think that they are going to have a rocky road convincing some hard lined fans. I am glad that John C. is going to still be there. Dr. Cox was always my favourite character. In the comments, someone made a very interesting statement, that AfterM*A*S*H didn't ruin M*A*S*H, and Joey didn't ruin Friends, so this new Scrubs isn't likely to ruin the Scrubs that the fans grew to love. I agree with that statement, and I think this Scrubs could go the distance. I know I'll be watching Scrubs: The New Class (play on Degrassi) in September (or January, whichever they decide), is anyone else?

Here's the article.

I missed the first episode, but I did see the second. It was decent. My only real issue was JD and Lucy both doing narration. It got a little jarring at times.

It seems weird that they've give Zach Braff top billing and put him in all the promo pictures when he's only supposed to be there for six episodes.

I was just about to post something about the episodes tonight.

I must say that I was one of the few people who were happy to hear that Scrubs was coming back, and I also must say that I was pleasantly surprised to see how it turned out.

I love this new Scrubs. It was as good as Scrubs 1.0 and one day I honestly feel could be better. I found myself liking Lucy farely quickly, and the fact that you could see her getting out of bed and showing her back in the first episode didn't hurt either.

I do agree with you MADfan on your points. I don't know why J.D has top billing. Maybe they are trying to say that Zach will be coming back periodically, and not just for the 6 episodes. As for the narration thing, I do feel that's a little bit of a problem, but when J.D leaves I think it'll get more grounded.

I also love that they haven't changed any of the returning. Dr. Cox is still as mean, and as funny as ever. Turk is still great as well, and I can't wait to see more of him in this new setting. As for the Todd, well the Todd is still the Todd, which is great. He had a part in the end of the 1st episode and I was so glad that he did, because I hadn't heard if he was coming back or not. Anyone up for a med school Todd five?

I also loved the Janitor's small part in this. Apparently he left Sacred Heart after he found out that J.D was leaving forever and not coming back and had never been seen since. Maybe he went to go raise some kids with a wife in middle America.

As for the new class, they are also a great casting decision. I like the #1 guy in the show for his stability due to the fact that he is a little older, the Australian chick could be interesting if she gets more screen time but for now she's not that bad when it comes to eye candy. As for Cole (who little tidbit is actually James Franco's brother), Cole is meant to be a douche, so since I hate him, I guess that makes him good?

I liked the episodes, but there were a few very tinny tiny microscopic problems that won't impede my watching of next week, but did bug me a little. I didn't like it that Denise was no longer banging fat guys as that was really part of her character, but she's still like a not as mean girl Dr. Cox so that's not that big of a problem. I really thought Sarah Chalke was going to be in the 2 episodes more. She was only in a small part in the first episode, and worse she was credited in the second episode, even though she wasn't in it so that was a little disappointing. Along with the J.D problems that will end after episode 6, you can see that there are some problems, but they don't even come close to overshadowing the great start.

I know I'm rambling here, but I do really love this new Scrubs, and I will definitely be returning for the next episode.

I was watching the second episode again, and in the credits it said that Zach is credited as an Executive Producer. I find that strange since he's only there for six episodes.

But that wasn't the best thing I saw in the credits. The best thing had to be the MADtv connection. The second episode was directed by Michael, so that was great, but the most surprising thing had to be the sight of MADtv writer Steven Cragg who was playing the security officer, and was also credited as a Consulting Producer. I wasn't sure if it was him, but then when I saw him in the credits, I knew it had to be.

2 great episodes and now some MADtv connections. I am in TV Heven which is somewhere I haven't been in a long time. Not since that sad May 16th day.

It was okay, I was waiting for so much worse. But I do hate the new theme song. I was also annoyed, that there was no mention of Carla. Janitor's sendoff was awesome.

Micheal McDonald's directed tons of episodes. That's not anything new.

Carla won't be in this season because supposedly Judy Reyes wanted a regular role, but they were only offering a recurring one (which is weird because before, we were hearing the exact opposite).

I don't understand why they wouldn't make Reyes regular. Although she is the least funny on the cast, her character was still important to the show.
