Biography:
Lisa Donovan grew up in Scarsdale, NY. In 2002, Lisa moved from Scarsdale to Hollywood to persue an acting career. Unfortunately, Lisa did not land an agent or a role. She then created her own production company with her brother and her boyfriend, and in 2006, she began posting videos on YouTube as LisaNova. With over 48 sketches, these videos eventually would grow to be huge and became some of the most popular videos on YouTube. In fact, her "Teenie Weenie" video caught the eye of MADtv casting director Nicole Garcia, which earned Lisa a spot as a featured cast member on MADtv in 2007.

I dont see how you can judge how a person is amazing or sucky based on about 7 sketches, but whatever floats your boat...

I do hope they bring her back next year though.

She deserves a fair shot- but the producers have seen more of her than we have. If she came, would she replace anyone or would she just be added on?

And it seems that she has a comedy background before Youtube.

According to Frank Caeti, new cast members don't replace departing cast members. If Lisa stays, then she'll simply be added on. At any rate, even though Lisa has had a couple of really funny moments, I would certainly hesitate at this point to call her amazing; she just hasn't been on "MADtv" long enough. Even so, I've seen enough promise from her to convince me that next season could be something really special for her if she's given the chance. Ay, there's the rub.

but, at least the one's I've seen of her (all but like one or two I think) she was amazing in, and made me laugh more then some of the other cast did all season (ex; Bobby, keegan 'don't kill me for that one'), but whatever...my opinon

Oh come on. Even if you don't like Keegan (or Bobby for that matter) you have to admit they've done way more then Lisa on the show.

Bobby has......maybe I went a little far in saying that Lisa is better then Keegan, cause I can admit that i do need to see more of her, but I can't stand Coach Hines, and some of his other characters, but he isn't horrible...just out of the current cast he is far from my fav......I just have high hopes from Lisa cause almost everything I've seen from her has been funny. I don't like Keegan's characters (except for the one in Disney Girl and Sesame sketches), but when he's playing the normal person in a character sketch he is funny....now I'm starting to second guess myself.. .....he isn't horrible.....

Well, I guess, though I still Disney Girl I think the majority of Hines haters just can't get past the first few sketches of his. The S12 ones really stepped it up (and most of the S11 ones too).
