MADtvpwnsSNL-I am not a big tv star, I am a late night sketch comedian, there's a huge difference. I'm a paycheck away from unemployment and rehab.

I hope you don't think I am picking on you, I am doing my best to give an inside perspective. I have a degree in Rhetoric, so I always appreciate intellectual discourse. And for the record, I do care what you think, I love where I work and the opportunity I have.

BTW, we have this week off, so I have more time on my hands than usual, hence my replies. Also, I'm on edge because I'm nervous about the Bears in the Superbowl.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Caeti is NOT Toby, right? It was created by one (or a team of two?) new writers. I remember reading an article that talked about the process. The link is somewhere around this forum, but I finding it would be a nightmare.

And I guess I'll throw in some quick questions...

How are the shows going at iO West? Have we seen anything from those shows show up on MAD yet?

And who's coming up with the bizarrely funny sketches we've been seeing lately? )Like Christmas Sex, Arden and Crista's "Coffee Twins," and the Elephants VS Gorillas sketch) They seem so out of place and non-traditional, I think they're some of the funniest sketches of the season.

What can I say? I have a lot to say.

I personally don't think there's a shortage of male players on the show. I think Ike, Frank, Jordan, Bobby, Michael and Keegan fill all the male roles quite nicely. It seems like the first time in a while they've had the male-female ratio pretty balanced. Sometimes in the past it seemed like there was 10 guys in 3 girls on the show.

The only thing the male cast might be lacking at times is an impressionist guy like Frank Caliendo. I'm surprised they didn't try anyone new as Bush yet, the only person I can kinda see playing him the current cast is Frank Caeti. But it kinda seems like the show isn't too interesting in doing any Presidental sketches this season. Not that I'm complaining, they were kinda starting to get stale towards the end.
