I don't remember that. Well I sort of remember the audience talkshows thing but I dont remember Nicole RJ being Oprah. But anyway, this seems to be her first major role as Oprah! Interesting to see how she'll do.

I'm really hoping this girl isn't a replacement for anyone - because if she was, it'd be Nicole Parker. I don 't think she's leaving, but this got me thinking last night. Then again, since she has so many YouTube videos, she'll probably be a character person - so maybe she's a Michael McDonald replacement? Or maybe since they want more characters, that's why they hired her? Or maybe they just want to keep the cast fresh? Who knows. But I'm hoping it's not the first reason.

If I were Arden or Crista I'd be really paranoid. Arden, because this girl can play the hot chick stuff. Crista, because she can write and is really popular on YouTube.

I don't think Nicole P. has much to worry about.

I dont know But I'm not so sure Arden or Crista have been there long enough to really have a "replacement". Well, Arden, anyway. But yeah, I guess Arden or Crista are more likely to get the boot over it, but I dont think anyone will - I think MAD just wants to keep things fresh.

Holy Abigail Williams, Batman! I didn't expect MAD to add a YouTube 'celebrity' to their cast! I've never personally seen any of her videos, but the fact that she writes her own stuff and is somewhat 'proven' kind of gets me pumped about her. (Then again, almost everyone on the cast now writes their own stuff...and usually do a better job than the actual writers)

I really don't think anyone would be replaced by Lisa Donavon, and if so, then it would likely be Crista, because they're both character people, but IMO Crista's characters are forced and lacking (except for Hope is Emo, and that's not even MADtv!) In fact, all the girls recently have been a bit lacking, even it's only with certain aspects, so adding a consistently funny female in the equation would be one of the best things for MAD right now.

Yeah, and while I don't think the girls are TOO bad right now, I of course want her to be funny. The fact that she's so popular on YouTube certainly helps, so she's probably a talented writer - which is always good.

I don't know, something about this seems a bit off to me. I'd think her site would say something about this, but nothing. I think she might just be a Craig Anton-type, where she just does some of her videos for the show.

Her site looks like it's not...really, updated a lot. It just has a few videos of hers from YouTube and a small, rarely-frequented message board. She's not really big enough for a full-blown official website yet. Plus, if the people at the taping were told she was going to be a featured player, then i'm guessing she's going to be one. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

WHOA...that post completely changed from the first time I saw it. But yeah, besides Nicole (P...i refer to Nicole RJ as NRJ), the female cast is good, but inconsistent. I don't think Crista is being replaced anyway.

Fresh? Great, why not cast someone in a weak category -- leading men. There isn't a good young leading man in the cast. Michael is old, Frank is fat, and Ike sucks at characters.

Right now there are four white chicks, three brunettes and one blonde. Crista has already been taking a lot of time away from Nicole. Now there's another woman to compete for the same sorta roles.

She might be more of a threat to Arden, she usually she plays the boobie roles and Lisa played Salma Hayek -- a total boobie role.

When Lisa was playing as Salma Hayek, her boobs were like big and saggy in the good way. They were the size of overgrown oranges.

And Keegan and Jordan don't count becuase they're African American? They couldn't possibly be leading men.

C'mon man be cool. Your comments are harsh, ignorant, and the rationale is weak. Which do you want a characters guy or a leading man? Besides maybe Jim Carrey, I can't think of a single other example where someone is both. Most comic leading men type play mostly extensions of themselves, ie Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Sandler,etc. As soon as Eddie Murphy tried to become a leading man he stopped being funny. George Clooney is older that Michael and I think we would agree he is a leading man. And while I am no skinny person, I played college baseball and there's plenty of muscle under that beer belly. I don't want to be a leading man, my career will be much longer and more interesting if I don't have to play pretty people.

I think the reason we are all on the show is because we don't fit the stereotypical leading men and women mold of Hollywood. And though all of the women on the show are attractive ladies, they're willingness to play "ugly" is what makes them funny.

How about this? Let's hire funny people. Lisa is funny, so they hired her, she's not replacing anyone. People think everyone is there to replace someone. So contrary to what many think, I didn't replace Caliendo and NRJ didn't replace Danielle. We are totally different people and performers and to say we are only there to do what someone before us did is limiting. We are all trying to bring something new to the show. I have zero interest in replicating someone else's past success, I'd rather carve my own path, and though the road is probably longer and more difficult, in the end it will be more fufilling and have integrity.

Comedy is never pretty, nor should it be. If you want eye candy watch anyone of the sh*t reality shows on MTV, if you want funny watch our show.
