Basically, it was a black version of SNL, but way, way better. The only two white people on it were Jim Carrey and some other blond girl named Kelly ------? It created some of todays biggest black comedians, I don't remember who though. Jennifer Lopez was a flygirl on the show after it's first season. I remember things like a homeless character in a huge box mansion, Dirty Dozens game show, this Handicapped superhero, this woman like the Vancome Lady who would sit there and say something nice and then insult them behind their back, and these gay art critics. It was extremely funny!

It was on FOX the same time that MadTV is on now...
It starred the Wayans family, Jim Carry, Alexandra Wetworth(resembles Mo when she was blonde), Kelly Caufield...
Funny show......

Actually, it might have been on after the Simpsons on Sunday...I remember going over to James house to watch it and we would always watch it after the Simpsons.
So it was likely in the X-Files spot...FOX did have a short lived comedy show called "The edge" which predated MadTV by two years. But I don't think MadTV will be cancelled as it is SNL's competition and what would Fox replace it with? "When Austrailians and Canadians attack?" I don't think that show would get as high ratings as Mo doing a monologue.

There was a huge fan site for ILC but it disappeared. How are you too young for ILC? That means you've never seen Fire Marshall Bill, the funniest Jim Carrey character ever. ILC is more like MadTV than SNL. They didn't care who they offended. They had this sketch where Rodney King and Reginald Deny did a PSA on why, when there is trouble, you should just "STAY IN YOUR CAR". The only thing wrong with the show was that half the time it was just "let's take something white and make it black" like the Star Trek: Wrath of Farakahn, All Up In Da Family, Lassie in the Hood, Homie Tha Clown, I Love Lunita, The HomieMooners, HomeBoy Shopping Network, MotherSmuckers Def Strawberry Jam, etc. It was still, in my opinion, the best sketch comedy show ever. ILC never had a unfunny sketch ever.

One sidenote is that Shaun Wayans used to play Chris Rock until Rock left SNL and joined the ILC Cast. If you've seen the 2000 Mtv awards you seen Shaun's Rock impression.

I was wrong. They ran from 1990 to 94, 94 being the worst season of all. It started to suck when all the Wayans left. Keenan and Damon left in 92, and Kim, Marlon, and Shaun left in 93. J.Lo quit the Fly Girls in 93 also. I have a pretty good memory cause I was only five and a half when I started watching ILC, but when I looked at an episode list I could remember almost every sketch.

Default Ive loved the show...

This show was great...

Except Jim Carey. Never really been a fan of his. But I did enjoy the rest of the cast and crew. The Wayans, I can only compare to The Three Stooges. So much comedic talent in one family is a rarity. Im really glad they are getting the chance to shine these days, but I sure miss ILC.

Maybe someday, they could all do a reunion show. That would ****ing rock!!!!

ILC FOREVER!!!!

Ahh damn it! I replied to this before but it must've been deleted when they had that server glick!

My first time seeing In Living Color was when I bought the season one DVD.

I bought it because I heard that it was funny...so I bought it and loved it!

Anton, Homey D. Clown, and those two guys in the Men On... sketches are my favorite recurring characters!

I'll be getting the season two DVD soon!

I hope that they release the rest of the seasons too!!!
