Evanescence & Similar Acts
Recently bought CD "Fallen" and I must say wow. This is probibly one of the best CDs I've ever heard. short though..about 45 mins, and consists of 11 tracks. Good reason to get this CD is mainly because of Amy Lees vocals, which are amoung the best in music, and they don't dissapoint here. Standout tracks include: My Immortal, Going under, Haunted, Tournacit (wrong spelling), My last breath. Those are my favourite tracks on the CD, and the others are top notch as well..one of those rare occasions were you get a CD that you can listen too all the way through.

Most definitely. I've had their album since last June and I'm waiting for their new album. I dont even think they've started writing for it yet! I know a forum where they post and talk to thier fans.

What would that forum be called? I'm curious now..the only people I've contacted were Nicole Sullivan, and Ken Foree..
I'm off and on on most forums nowadays MysterE..been busy latelly, and usually just browse..trying to get back into shape you know. And I think they're pretty much done with a new album..Saw an interview..I can't give a date, as you most likelly know more about this group then I do. __________________ I'm back baby In all my years I have never seen them do that! |

I've been a lurker there since last april I think. I dont have ONE post LOL. I just go there to see what the band has to say. The only reason they post there is cuz that site was made for them before they made it big when their album "Origin" came out. It was like a demo CD. They think its crap but you can download some songs off of Origin. It was done in an apartment Ben and Amy shared together but its still pretty good for an album that was made in a closet.

damn..I joined but I can't do anything yet..account hasn't been "Approved" Besides, maybe for this website I can tone down my Racist anti-islam/french asshole of the year award image..turing over a new leaf is hard as hell..

Wow you're lucky as f***! A lot pple say she sings great live and thats rare at concerts. Most singers sound like crap but not her. I guess it's cuz she did choir and all that in high school

yeah she didn't miss a note
although when she was singing "my immortal" she made a small blunder and swapped some lyrics around...most people didn't notice..but she acknowledge she ****ed it up....but she covered it over pretty well |

Yeah some peole say she messes up a bit on My Immortal. On the album Origin the lyrics for My Immortal were switched around but she switched it around for Fallen. Were you guys singing along and got confused when she switched?

I'm loving the single(call me when you're sober) and a friend found a leaked copy of the album I tried to be a good fan and not download it but um..no I have it and am listening to it now i'm gonna upload it if anyone is interested Ps i  amy lee
