Biography:
Jeff Richards attended Las Lomas High School. One of his first jobs was at a Walnut Creek plumbing company. He left California to attend the University of North Carolina. After leaving the school, Richards traveled across the country as a stand-up comedian. Once he performed at a 13 year-olds birthday party for $50. Finally, he performed at Caroline's on Broadway and on late-night TV talk shows. He joined "Saturday Night Live" in the 2001-2002 season as a featured player. He joined the main cast this year. His impressions include; Bill O'Reilly, Gary Busey, and David Letterman.

Where are they now?
As of Spring 2007, Jeff has left SNL to continue doing stand-up comedy and to pursue a movie career. Since leaving SNL, he has guested on a few shows and appeared in one movie: "Sleep Man".

His "unofficial" website is www.tastyjeff.com dont ask me what that means. I sent a message from his website asking why they didnt include MAD TV in his bio on the site i got no reply lol i would consider it to be fairly important as 4 episodes is a reasonable amount to appear in wouldnt u say?

I kinda like him on SNL, he does a really accurate and hilarious Gary Busey impression. It's too bad that MAD got rid of him so fast, he's a really good impressionist, not as good as Frank, but still really good nonetheless.

Wow, it seems Jeff has been let go by SNL as of tonight, he was gone from the opening credits and the SNL boards said he has been fired mid-season. That sucks, he was one of the few people currently on there that I still thought was funny.

Jeff definitely should have stayed with MAD...I think he would have been way better off. I love his Drunk Girl character. Drunk Girl would have gotten more than just appearing occasionally on Weekend Update. Drunk Girl would have had entire sketches, and proly a real name too. It's too bad he had already been on MAD. They might have hired him after his firing from SNL, but now his chances of coming to MAD are zero. Although I am kinda pissed at him for leaving MAD in the first place, I wouldn't mind if he came back.

Why are his chances zero? If he was the first Madtver to go to SNL, then he could be the first Madtver to come back, as well! And, I could have sworn that I saw him at the first taping of the season, just hanging out. Maybe I'm wacked though. I was too shy to ask if it was him or not!

The only memorable sketch I remember Jeff Richards from is the Letterman sketch with Meg Ryan. That was hilarious, and an awesome impression of Letterman. I dont recall him from any other sketches off hand.

Will Sasso's Bruce Vilanch (or however u spell it) impression was funny as well. It would be funny if MAD hired him next season and he made fun of SNL.

That's actually supposed to be the impression that Jeff's best known for, but I think his letterman is alot better, personally. Well, better than Norm MacDonalds at least! (even if norm did look more like him!)
