I'd say Office Space is probably the thing he's most known for, that movie is still popular today. It's on Comedy Central a lot, and now it's been shown on ABC Family a couple of times.

I've seen Dude Where's My Car a lot, I never noticed him. I guess I have to watch it again.

Default Dave fans?

I used to think he sucked and the only reason they hired him was because he kind of looked like Alfred E. Nueman, but watching the reruns, he's a pretty funny guy.

Heart Dave Herman fans?

Hey, I just joined this forum. I love MADtv and the DVD is amazing. I'm also a new David Herman fan. There's not much about him on search engines, and I was wondering if there were any Dave fans out there??

Yes, I'm a "Hermanhead" of sorts. The only movie I've seen him in is Office Space; however, I'm really a fan of his "MADtv" work. While Dave's not my fave from the first two seasons, I do find him quite hilarious, esp. in the "X-News" sketches. I guess he's sort of an acquired taste for most: like Michael McD's Stuart character, he tends to inspire either love or hate. Me? *Imitates the pre-Caucasian, pre-pedophilia Michael Jackson* I'm a lover, not a fighter.

In the future, however, you'll probably want to post in the Cast Discussion Forum when you wish to discuss a particular performer. I say so only b/c I think that the moderators sorta frown on our opening new threads in the General Forum that pertain to a single performer or character. Then again, a lot of others seem to do the same, so WTF do I know? I myself am kind of a newbie here; and just between you and me, I think that everyone else here laughs behind my back. But I'm terminally paranoid, so anyhoo....

And with that shaky greeting, I welcome you to Planet "MADtv," Minky. Don't worry--not everyone else here is like me. Actually, most of the others are much, much worse...shh, but, again, that's between you and me. I'm gonna shut the f**k up now.

Wow our information on David Herman is pretty scarce. If you would Minky, if you find any good bio info or other stuff on him, could you post it in this thread?

...then if you stick around long enough, you could do the bio on him if you wanted to- if nobody's signed up for it.

Thanks for the info, mizzimad. I didn't really do much "research", if you will, about the mechanics of the forum. I know now, anyway. Plus, the notification was nice, so I'm not all that broken up about it. Sooo anyway...

I was reluctant at first to post on this thread because from the looks of it, it appears kinda dead. Perhaps there isn't much to say? I hope that's not the case. But there doesn't seem like there's much else for a "Hermanhead" to do, than post here. So, why not?

Maybe if we give it some time this thread could be alive again.
