Biography:
Frank was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Waukesha (a suburb of Milwaukee), Wisconsin. There, he was an All Conference Catcher on the Waukesha High School Baseball team, but didn’t continue in college due to an injury. Frank graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in a degree of broadcast journalism, but didn’t pursue a career in this. Influenced by television and comedians he perfected his impressions. He made his fist stage appearance in 1996 and made his way emceeing at a Milwaukee comedy club. He then set out to a college tour of 90 campuses. After this tour, he was named the 1999 Comedian of the Year by the National Association of Campus Activities. This was followed by one of his biggest breaks, a cast member slot on the seventh season of MadTV. After his well-known, uncanny impressions of John Madden, he made many radio appearances as well appearances on The Fox NFL Pre-Game Show and The Best Damn Sports Show. He made time to release two cd’s, “Frank On The Radio” and “Make The Voices Stop.” He mentioned in an interview the he would love to do films but he would rather wait until his career develops further.

Where are they now?
As of July 2009, Frank's show on TBS has been cancelled, but Frank is not discouraged, as he is still doing his fabulous impressions on NFL on Fox, and performing around the country during the offseason.

Franks Comedy Central Presents is awesome. Did he ever do Farley on MadTV. I heard he did it on some other skecth comedy show. But I also heard that show was really bad and Frank was the only good person on the show.

I just want to say I recently purchased his "Make The Voices Stop" cd and I highly recommend it.

And I'm counting down the days until I go see one of his stand up shows in May.

Default Frank Caliendo on Comedy Central Special

Last Night, I saw a special honoring the 13th anniversary of Comedy Central.

It was called the Bar Mistvah Bash (i hope i spelled it right). The special show footage of Comedy Central's history, Stand-up performers like Dave Attelll, Judy Gold and f*&ked-up perfornce by D.L. Hughley and a musical performance by Snoop Dogg.

It also featured an appearence by MADtv's Frank Calenido in which he reads
the lyrics of the South Park classic "Chocolate Salty Balls" under the impression of Al Pacino.

Well, I don't think we will have to worry about any performances like that on MADtv in the next few years especially since he won't be back next year.

See you in where are they now file, Frankl

Who told you he wasn't coming back? Has the season ten cast been announced already?

^^ He hates Frank. I'm thinking Frank might not be back next season either. If he was on a 3 season contract, it would expire at the end of this season. I like Frank's impressions, but Frank as a sketch comic isn't that great. Sometimes I feel like he has no personality, and that's probably because he's always being someone else... if that makes sense. When he's the "straight" I find him dull, and I can't associate him to any characters (Impressions don't count). Like with Stephnie, her personality is easily identifiable, not only through her amazing characters, but even her straight woman is full of personality. I don't know if I would really care if Frank came back next season.
