Its all I need to hear your voice everyday.

I wish never to wake up from this dream I’m in right now.
Here I am watching clouds from your bedroom window
As we’re laying here.

And I wake up today
Still smiling in the air.
Wish dreams could be so great.

What if Matt really isn't human, but a lifeless entity that roams the forum spooking people?

Pretty much. Such is the problem with spending the holidays alone.

If nothing else, you're right about the "lifeless" part.

Thumbs Up

1.) Marilyn Manson
2.) Pink Floyd

then there's..

3.) KoRn
4.) Danzig
5.) NIN
6.) Metallica (pre-Black Album)

Damn, Blackwind.. most of my Top 5 is in your list.. now come on, you GOTTA like a little Pink Floyd and Danzig, don't you?

BTW, what did you think of Take a Look in the Mirror? A couple songs on there are just plain stupid, like "Y'all Want a Single".. but for an album like that, it's pretty good. Untouchables is better though.

Default Music...

I love all kinds of music from Danny O'Keefe to N.W.A. , from Tom T. Hall to Metallica, from C.W. McCall to Kid Rock, from David Allan Coe to K.I.S.S.

I like all kinds of music...

Can't say I do. I saw a half-decent Danzig music video in 1990, but I've since forgotten all about him.

Undecided. I fell in love with "Right Now" and "Break Some Off" right away, but I'm still trying to get into the rest of the album.

True, but "Beat It Upright" (or "Help Me Stay Alive", or whatever the final title of the song was) wasn't much better, and that eventually became one of my favorite KoRn songs.

For sure. But then, where most hardcore fans cast aside a band's more melodic offerings, I seem to embrace them. Whether it's Untouchables, Mechanical Animals, The Burning Red (Machine Head), or Chamber Music (Coal Chamber), I'm always left wondering why the band continually refers to the next record as their "comeback album". Are you kidding me!? What is there to comeback from, exactly? This is f***ing GREAT!

1990? I'm not sure what that one is. Maybe you're talking about "Mother" live from '93?

And come on man.. you gotta be a PF fan if you're a MM fan!

Same here, actually. I always listen to those two, and I like "Did My Time" too. Probably because those are the first I heard. When I saw them live on November 30th they did those songs from the new album, as well as "Counting on Me", and I'm getting more into that one too. Otherwise, I've been moreso scanning the album, and the bad parts really stood out, like "Y'All Want a Single", which I guess was some lame attempt to make a grand statement or something that miserably failed.

Yeah, Untouchables was great.. best besides their first album.

And yeah, I definitely hear you. Luckily, Mechanical Animals was still a big hit, and alienated the extremist "Mansonites" that he wanted to weed out anyway. Holy Wood served its purpose of being a combination of the two previous albums.. but some fans were disappointed because they thought it was gonna be another Antichrist Superstar or something.

Whatever happened to Lauryn Hill anyway? I remember she won all those Grammys in '98 and then seemed to disappear from the planet.

she released a live album last year
MTV unplugged...she was nominated for one of the minor grammy awards for it.
shes changed a fair bit, the live album was acoustic and even she described herself as a "folk hip hop singer"
i really liked the album but obviously it wasn't well known

Hmmm, weird.. she was definitely on a big wave of success, I'm surprised she didn't take advantage of it.
