Survivor: Ugh, Millennials Edition

ERINNNNNN. She's either 2nd or 4th. I love her so. This has been such a strange season and she has had the most obscure edit of all. The editing has constantly brushed past her and made her the "extra" character who has no role to play, yet she's actually had a really interesting story and always has great sound bites. She has no real friends on the jury though which blows.

There sure are a lot of fine ladies on the show this season. $50 says all five are voted off one after the other in the first five episodes like always. Looks like Jack Shephard has joined us as well. Fun!

I'm gonna predict Betsy as this seasons winner. Or the next boot.

And sure enough, the most attractive member of Foa Foa is now gone.

I'm pulling for Monica and Russell. Don't have enough to go on to make a prediction at this point, though.

Agreed, he should definitely go all the way. I love how he just plays everyone and throws them all off guard. And they just can't get rid of him. I'm rootin for all the former members of Foa Foa plus Shambo.

Next week, it looks like it'll be a 5-5 deadlock between Laura and Russell. If he wins the rock-drawing/fire-making challenge, he just might have this in the bag.

I think Russ just might find the hidden immunity idol to save himself once again.

I don't like regular Russell as my family calls him (it's a reference from All in the Family, it's how Archie told the difference between white and black people with the same name). His mere existance in the game is to screw people over. He doesn't even need the money if his oil tycoon credit is correct. He's not going to find it again as now all 5 of the Galu stronghold will be looking for the idol. That's big because except for maybe Shambo I don't see any of the other Foa's looking for it. They are probably just going to sit on there asses and rely on Russell. If there smart, they'll send 2 of the men to undermine Russell as he searches, and leave the other 3 to look for the idol.

I say good riddance. Monica was getting on my nerves.

But that means Foa Foa is going to collapse on itself now, sadly I don't see it making it to the Final 4

Yeah, Monica really could have handled that plan better. I honestly thought she was persuing a suicide mission with that plan. I just didn't see how it was going to work at all.

Also, I believe Russell's time is running out. He kept on his goal of getting rid of all of Galu for too long. Now when they are almost all gone, the rest of the Foa's are going to go after him, as he's just too much of a liability. At least that's what they should do. Although I really don't know since all these people are such fucking morons!

If Foa Foa knows what's good for them, they'll oust Russell next, then Brett -- Russell first, of course, because there's no reason for him not to play the idol the last time he's able. Between Russell's game and Brett's entire tribe being on the jury, this is the only shot they have at the million. Unfortunately for them, it hinges on one of them winning the next two immunity challenges, which, even though they have the numbers, doesn't seem likely.

Should it indeed come down to Mick, Jaison, and Natalie, I have to believe Natalie will take it, simply because she worked Galu better than her tribemates. All three did nothing but ride Russell's coattails from day one, so I don't think there's a case to be made for any one of them deserving the million over any other.

As for Monica, looking like that, she could've spent the entire season flinging her feces for all I care.

Totally agree with you ousting Russell plan. I also agree on your Natalie for the million, because though she did kind of ride Russell's coattails, she didn't ride them as much as Mik and Jaison, and as the game went on, she got stronger, and adapted better to the game.

I do think Mik stands a chance though at winning the next two. He was close on the last one, but in truth though I am kind of pulling for that Brett guy to win both just because he doesn't look like a scumbag.

If Jaison isn't trying hard in the next episode to oust Russell he should be fired from that lawyer job because he would be the dumbest Survivor ever. He knows he told Galu that Russell is a multi millionaire, and he knows that Russell is getting upset and tired with him because it's so obvious, and because he was sneaking information to them, like how someone had switched over.

Also, I was thinking back at the 5-5 tie when John voted for Laura, and I realized that that was such a stupid move. He was mad at the tribe and said that he didn't want his fate to be decided on a rock, so he decided to get it assured on a vote. If he did the rocks there was a chance he was going to be eliminated, but by voting out Laura, he was assured to be voted out on paper. What an idiot!

Agreed re: John. Galu had a 50/50 shot at regaining dominance, while his odds of drawing the shortest straw (as it were) were only 1 in 8. That's a chance you have to take.

I totally forgot about Shambo, by the way, so disregard most of what I said above for now. She or Brett will need to be eliminated before the rest of the plan can be enacted.

Yeah I was putting that into effect when I originally worte it, but I just felt it would make everything too complicated. They basically have a lot of shots actually. They can wait till Sham and Brett are gone and then they can make the move to get rid of him, but with Russ, it should be a the sooner the better than later thing with them. Then again, they all already know who's going home on Thrusday so... You know thinking of that, the osted ones must either not be watching the show, or if they are, they are banging there heads in a wall for not getting Russell out. People like John, Laura, Dave, and even Jaison, Mik, and Natalie for not doing it once they had the 2 up majority.

Speaking of Natalie, I really do hope she wins now, because she's not bad looking, and it would be great to see one of the girls from what Russell called his "dumb ass girls alliance" win.

Just wait 'til you see her on the reunion show. It's shocking how attractive Monica is without makeup, but even more so how *less* attractive Natalie is *with*. Until recently, I didn't realize that was possible.

If Russell doesn't win, I'm never watching Survivor again. Until February 2010.

He's also the most entertaining and the lone contestant who clearly outwitted and outplayed his competitors. Survivor isn't a charity.
