Default Debra Wilson LEAVES MADtv after 8 years!!!!!
My inside source reported the bad news earlier today to me that MADtv veteren Debra Wilson will not be returning to MADtv for season 9. The cast was told at the end of final taping of her departure. On behalf of MADtv fans across the world: farewell Debra we'll miss you.

Cat_Named_CeCe, this rumour has been confirmed and is front page news.

Guys, this is no joke, Debra is gone. No more Oprrraaahhhh or Whitney Houston. I wonder how this will effect Aries?

Well, she has been there for 8 years. I guess she just needed to move on. Man, the cast is just breaking apart... I really do hope they will give her a farewell like they did to Nicole.

Debra is like.....the centre...the rock of mad tv

that really sucks

thank god i'll have 2 season of her though when we eventually get season 7 and 8

It could be true cause it said on the website that they wrapped up the season's tapings on the website. So I guess she said it allright

Tapings for each season usually finish around early to Mid march. It was in the interview that Stephnie did that was posted in another thread. They just air all the new episodes until around May.

So this may or may not be true. So until I read it in an official website or an official news source. I'll assume its not happening.

Well I really hope it isn't true. Debra's FINALLY returned back to greatness this season, and it's sad to see her leave after that

As for Aries, I don't really care anymore. He doesn't really help the show at all. If you ask me, I'd much rather Aries leave than Debra.

I will post this on the news page tomorrow. As it has been shown in the episodes that she missed, NOBODY is strong enough to fill in her shoes. I am being 100% honest, not biased because of how much I like her. Everyone, with the possible exception of Stephnie and Mo, cannot carry skits alone. MADtv is in desparate need of some real talent. I am beyond upset about this, but I knew it was coming sooner or later.

Besides Nicole, she is my all-time favorite cast member. She is one of the only people in the show's history who has stayed consistant and great throughout her whole run on the show. I am very, very sad at this news. Just like when Nicole left the cast, there will be a HUGE gaping hole that nobody will come close to filling if the cast stays like it is. Of course this is all my opinion, but as it stands now, MADtv is going to drop hugely in quality without Debra, their only original left.
