Default I miss the show...

Just finished watching Season 12, 13, and 14 via WB's website and amazon videos. I'm so sad now knowing there aren't any more episodes. I'll admit, I didn't think much of the show when it was still on the air but after watching clips of it on youtube I am a huge fan now. I loved the second to last episode where Bobby sings Crista his song and Coach Hines' exit. I wish mad TV could come back with it's season 12/13/14 cast members...

I really miss the old stuff. Season 12-14 is where my interest in the show totally faded, unfortunately.

Season 14 had potential although the quality seemed to slip during the second half of the season for obvious reasons, Eric Price was my pick of the newer cast members. I thought they should of kept Nicole Randall Johnson after season 12 she was clearly a future talent. I also thought they missed a trick with not keeping Lisa Donovan even though i dont like much of her youtube stuff surely she could of brought in a few new viewers considering the amount of fans she has on youtube. I watch SNL now and really wonder how it is so popular, it would be interesting how that show would go without A list celebrities and musical guests every week....

I agree, season 14 was shaping up to be ok, season 13 was the only season I thought was sub-par. I just watched a bunch of sketches on youtube. If they wouldn't have changed the format of the show, I think it would of have a better chance then it did. On a Chelsea Lately a few weeks back, Arden and Bobby were on the roundtable and Chris said "It's like a Mad TV Reunion here!" Made me miss the show, I hope they release all the seasons on DVD soon, or even on itunes would be nice.

And funnyguy I agree, I think NRJ def. should have been kept on, as well as Lisa. Lisa should have been given at least season 13 since they hired her on based on her youtube fame, and basically a lot of season 13 was all on location shooting, I think she could have thrived. I think a lot of casting choices they made in the later seasons could have hurt the show too, like the two examples above, (and I know I used to rant about this but...) and letting Danielle go after season 11. Also after season 13 letting Dan and Anjelah go (yes she hardly did anything but her one hit wonder sketch Bon Qui Qui got crazy popular on youtube) and keeping some other cast members around, seemed weird to me too. I've also been season a lot of random season 9 sketches on youtube lately, Gillian Vigman was funny, was sad to see her not stay on, not that season 10 really needed another cast member, but she was good.

They will probably never release them on DVD, but Warner Bros. has this site called the Warner Archives that will make a blank DVD copy of their programming for what might be a little more than an official copy that doesn't exist. Since MAD is produced by Warner, that means that bootlegs of seasons from Warner Archives might be possible.

I've bought a couple movies from warner archives, they are better then nothing, the don't try to remaster the film or what-not to make it look crisp and new, but they basically give you exactly what you would see on the tv, from the year that was filmed. That would be sweet if they released it there.

But yeah....I miss the show too!
