Mad Men
I thought I was the last person to start watching AMC's Mad Men, but seeing as there's no thread here (and Nem FINALLY started) I can only assume none of you watch it, and to that I say, repent, and watch!
Season 4 starts the 25th and i'm excited! Anyway I made this thread in the hopes someone will talk about it with me. Season 4 last night. I dunno, i'm falling out of love with Don Draper. Noes!
It was weird, cause they flashed forward a 6mos/a year. What I loved Lost. I'm just saying that whenever the words "flash forward" is used it will always be connected to Lost.

Basically its like
 But yeah considering how resistant I was to watching this show, its pretty outstanding. I've got 1 episode left in season 1. I'm not sure how much I can contribute here because I'm so far behind, plus I'll need to avoid spoilers for quite a while. Pretty much every actor on the show is excellent and has a role thats perfectly crafted for them. You can tell how much care they put into realistically depicting the era in this show. The thing that stands out to me the most in this show is just a persistent air of cruelty that is present in almost every scene. Yeah there are a couple characters with decent friendships but almost every action that any character takes in this show is at the expense of another. That's the best way I can describe it. At first I thought the show was just well liked by people nostalgic for the 50s but there really is much more to it than that.
