Ellen Degeneres, really? she doesnt even sing. This is the bizarrest pick they could have made. Did they really need to replace Paula, the show survived well with 3 judges before.

Where the hell is the girl who got in......in denver i think.She wore a headscarf at her audition and i think she was a karaoke lady perfomer and i can not remember her name...i do remember liking her voice though.i haven't seen her at all during hollywood week???

As for Ellen, she's doing... about as well as anyone with no musical background could, I guess. I'm just surprised they didn't extend an offer to Katy Perry. Aside from Simon, she's easily the best judge they've ever had. Many, many lulz in that episode.

I have absolutely no favorites thus far (which probably signifies another sausage season), but I'm keeping an eye on Katie, the chubby 16-year-old brunette. Here's hoping she impresses soon, be it via stellar performance or belly shirt.

Kirkland, Wash., native Danielle Hayes received a golden ticket to Hollywood Week after her performance of "I'm the Only One" wowed judges Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi in Denver. Hayes is currently on probation and producers for the show would have had to get permission for her to leave the state. Hayes was cited for driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana in 2008.

Favorite Gals: Katie and Siobhan. Not much to choose from this season, so I don't see that changing.

Favorite Guys: Jermaine and Tim. But you'll never hear me mention them again.

Ideal Top 12: Katie, Siobhan, Lilly, Katelyn, Crystal, Michelle; Jermaine, Tim, Tyler, Michael, Andrew, Todrick.

Predicted Top 12: Crystal, Didi, Haeley, Janell, Katie, Siobhan; Aaron, Andrew, Casey, Jermaine, Michael, Tim.

I'm still not super jazzed about this season, but hopefully we'll see some breakout performances next week. And hopefully Haeley gets hit by a bus before then. Ugh on every possible level.

Upon further inspection, the Jermaine in the Top 24 isn't the Jermaine I liked. Hate you, Idol. So many crazy talented people get fucked each and every year on this show.

Siobhan does have a good voice, but I don't know if she's going to win simply due to the fact that she doesn't really have the "idol" image.

No, she doesn't have an original hair on mizzimad's head's chance of making it past the middle of May (because heaven forbid the most talented singer win in a SINGING COMPETITION), but, as Allie and Daughtry will attest, Top 4 is just as good. Short of divine intervention from Jermaine's BFF, at this point, I can't see her departing any earlier than that.

There was something funny I noticed in Wednesday's show. When Ellen was talking to that Tim Urban guy, right after she says "I have to do this right now", and as she's going up to hug him, he makes these two faces




It looks like he thought Ellen was going to touch his penis or something. Sorry Tim, she doesn't bat for that team.

Also, Kara needs to go off this show. She's trying to be like Paula, with all the fake rubbing up on Simon, and the crocodile tears from that Big Mike performance, but she doesn't realize that she's not Paula! She's the dead weighted girl with an unnatural tan who no one should like! I swear, after Simon leaves, this show is going to suck. I mean, it's been like what 29 seasons so the talent pool will be pretty dry (I have a feeling we'll be getting a lot of the Ke$ha acts in the next few seasons), and the judges are not going to be as tough. Simon is the only one who was willing to tell it brutally straight, and unless they can find someone else who's willing to do that, this show will suck.

I just noticed this now. No I'm not an Idol fan, but my parents watch it like every night, and I occasionally catch a few minutes here and there. Also, I found this site that picks out some of the best/worst moments of the show and puts it up so I don't have to watch the whole show.

As an actual fan (*cough*), I'd say that, this season, it's the exact opposite. Where the other judges have been not only spot-on, but completely lucid as well in their critiques (even the Dawg!), Simon's been shamelessly shilling for his favorite and pissing all over anyone who dares pose any sort of threat to her. Shiv misses one note in "Think", and that makes "half of it" "terrible"? Bitch, please. Then, she turns in a flawless performance this week, he can't fault her vocals, so he calls her dark and weird, complains that she didn't give us a "moment", and then verbally ejaculates on Pigpen whose performance was no more momentous?



As for Kara, like I said last year, she's just Paula, except, with a brain and a pleasant face. I, for one, don't see the problem with that.

kara is all kinds of hot.when they showed the clip of her during the auditons in the bikini(guess i missed that in last years finale,oops)...wooows yeah.nice.

Anyway...i'm a big siobhan fan.not just cause i think shes sounds good but i think shes cute and she kinda reminds me of a friend i had in high school and i like that she had no clue what dark horse meant,LOLZ
