Default American Idol 9
I know I'm not into the Idol stuff like all of you, but I should still report news when I see it, and it looks like Kara DioGuardi, who was thought not to return for the next season, has signed on to return next season. This will no doubt throw the already in jeopardy contract of Paula Abdul into more uncertainty.

I think she got something wrong. It's not "I've decided not to return to #IDOL" it's they refused to offer me a contract because they had had enough of me.

Wow thats gonna be weird not having Paula anymore but I have to admit I saw this coming eventually. Jsut didn't think they'd phase her out so qucikly.

Looks like all this might've been nothing more than a negotiation tactic.

In any case, auditions start tomorrow morning, so I guess we'll have our final answer then.

I predict that the next season of American Idol will lose its status at the most-watched TV show in America and the ratings will fall as much as 33% from this past season
