MATT: How about this? Reiko Aylesworth, dropped from ABC's The Forgotten, has bounced back with a possibly recurring role on the Sci Fi series. As who? Stargate auteur Joseph Mallozzi tells the Buzz, "Let's just say that her character, Sharon, is someone very important in Camille Wray's (Ming-Na) life." (P.S. Camille is a lesbian.)
Needless to say, I can now wholeheartedly recommend Stargate Universe.

Stargate is the poor... no... destitute man's Battlestar Galactica.

From what I've seen (at a friend's place after being voted down 4-1 ), I couldn't agree more. Tough to argue with lesbo Reiko, though.

I've been out of the whole anime thing for a good while, but I recently discovered a new one, Gundam 00, and it is FANTASTIC. It takes place in the year 2307, when a new group called Celestial Being has been created to completely eradicate war.

It does a great job of bringing up questions like, how exactly DO you eradicate war? If you use violence (which is what they do), will people understand that that's the most effective way? Will countries whose economy is based on military tech be happy about this? What do you do when two countries are on the brink of a war, but haven't actually declared it? All these questions they bring up without the show ever coming across as preachy or trying to lecture the viewers.

New episodes air Mondays on the Sci-Fi channel, and the entire first season is available to watch on YouTube (both subbed and dubbed).

I would like to recommend Better off Ted. They have some episodes left over from there season so they are running them now, and I tell you all it is the best show on network television right now (although that's not saying much since network tv really sucks right now). It's worth giving a watch.

definitely one to get in to and its only 2 seasons long.
Oh dear. Not only does Dark Angel have some of the worst-written dialogue in the history of television, I could count the number of lines Jessica Alba delivered convincingly on a single hand. Move over, Eliza -- looks like I have a new least favorite actress! I was about to throw my hard drive out the window in rage, but then, midriff. And then, action. I'm sure I'll regret this, but I guess I'll give it another episode or two before giving up.

To be perfectly fair, I think it's more the dialogue's fault than Jessica's, which, in turn, can be blamed on the setting. Either way, I made it through four episodes, and that's more than enough stereotypes and hiphopisms for me. See you in Hizzle, Dark Angizzle!

I want to recommend "Pushing Daisies"
I know that its been cancelled after only 2 short seasons but i've just started watching it and its such a great show. The way i describe it is its kinda like a lighter, brighter version of a tim burton movie.
Plus Anna Friel is hot.bonus

Fuck it. I'm gonna do it.

I'm going to recommend True Blood. This season is getting really good now.

Oh, so I see you've finally decided to take my advice and kill yourself.

But, wait, you're dead now, so you won't be able to read this. Ah, well.

I saw an episode of True Blood and the concept alone fucked up my whole image of HBO at how bad it was. I keep hearing people who I think still possess their mental faculties (not you MADfan) recommend it though. I need to have someone I can trust watch it and make sure this isn't an elaborate trap to make me watch a terrible show about vampires.

I caught (most of) an episode once myself when I made the mistake of leaving the TV on after Bill Maher. At best, it's watercooler porn; at worst, it's one of the most asinine and poorly acted shows ever to hit the airwaves. For shame, HBO.

If you're under the age of twelve, were dropped on your head as a child, or lack the necessary bandwidth to stream RedTube, by all means, continue watching True Blood; otherwise, do the human race a favor and kindly remove yourself from the gene pool. Thanks in advance.

It's for people that wished twilight had actual sex in it.
I thought the premise would make for a good B movie. Horrible acting.
Saw the first 8 episodes because alot of my girl friends had been like "OMG!" Honestly, I dont really care if I see it again.

Love the opening credits tho. So smutty. Misleading but smutty.

Hate to say it, but I believe in my heat that most chicks are retarded. If I can look at them and tell that they are, I hope this means I am not one of them.

I actually skipped the first season, which looked to be about nothing more than sex. I've only started watching this season, which, admittedly, DOES focus on sex a lot, but there's a lot more going on in it.

I saw enough episodes to make an assessment so don't sass me.
I can't stop staring at Paquin's gap.
