I'm starting to get into the Soup too. It combines all of the crap in reality shows in one half hour program. It's just convinient.

I recommend watching the new ABC comedy Better Off Ted. After a bit of a slow start, the show is turning out to be not too bad. ABC is rumoured to be renewing it so tune in if you can over the summer.

Dark Angel: Teen drama like Smallville, or something with a little more meat in its sac like Alias? If it's the latter, can I get a brief synopsis as well?

I'd look this sort of thing up on my own, but whenever I do, 100% of the time, I end up getting spoiled.

ohh dark angel was a good show, plus jessica alba in leather, mmmmmm
definitely one to get in to and its only 2 seasons long.
I'd say def more alias than smallville.
Alba plays Max,who we find out is some kind of genetically altered lady made by a secret government body(is there any other kind?) and as a youngen her and a bunch of her other altered kiddies break out and are in hiding.its set in the not too distant future thats been hit with an electromagnetic pulse.
Season 1 is definitely better than season 2,the tone kind of changes a bit in s2 and then the show got canned.bom bbbbbooooooom

I don't get Alias. I got the first season because my boss recommended them (that should have been my first warning sign). It seems really targeted to high school/college girls specifically, I was pretty sure I wasn't supposed to be watching it. Does it at some point turn into a tolerable show?

Also I recommend Battlestar Gallactica. If you haven't watched it, go buy some rope from WalMart. You'll know what to do with it.

Come S2, she stops going to school and the boring characters start to develop some dimension; by S3, the boring characters are phased out entirely. If you made it through S1, the rest should be butter. Give it another shot. [After the vastly superior Prison Break, of course.]

I have a strict policy against watching anything with "star" in the title. No goofy aliens, portals, and general space capades for me, thank you very much.

I've watched the first two seasons and a few episodes of season 3, give it the whole first season. If you don't like it then, then it might not be your show.

Another Guilty Pleasure Show:
The Real World/Road Rules Challenge. I like Road Rules which was cancelled, I'm not a fan of Real World, but I love the Challenges. They do cool missions, people get voted off, the drama is fun to watch, and they have a lot of attractive people to look at too! lol

Then you must hate Star Wars, and if you do, how dare you!

I probably should, but it sure as hell won't be over Battlestar Galactica.

I do. Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar, Stargate... you name it, I loathe it. Space just isn't my bag, baby.

Ladies First? Is that SERIOUSLY your comeback? What is this, 1997?

And if we're gonna recommend shows that aren't on the air anymore, I recommend Undeclared. I marathoned all seventeen episodes about a year ago and fell in love with it. Plus, Seth Rogen wrote a good portion of the episodes, all of which among the best of the show.

Hey, I can only work with what you give me. I didn't realize "kill yourself" was any more current.

no homo.

ANYWAY.

Just saw the premiere of Nurse Jackie. It's kinda Dexter-ish, like "Oh, she's kinda fucked up but deep down she's a stand up gal!"
It could be good, so i'll keep watching, for now.
