[MADtv] If MADtv came back on the air who do you think would or should stay?

I was just wondering if they got renewed right now on any channel who would want to return? I haven't heard much on the cast's feeling on the shows cancellation. Except maybe Bobby Lee who seemed to be looking for a way out. Also who you think should come back.........Please keep the Arden bashing to a minimal...........I'm sure she means well....?


And if I'm wrong about anything please let me know. It's the only way I'll learn.

After looking a lot more closely, I see that though this has been talked about a little, but not that much, so this thread is pretty valid after all. I made a mistake Chris (I seem to be making a lot of those these days), so I'm sorry. In order to add to my apology, I will contribute to the thread on my thoughts. Maybe that's not really help though.

Crista Flanagan: I believe that if Crista was going to leave they were going to offer her a higher contract. I think she would have taken it considering the fact that she seems to be getting along with everyone in the feature cast (especially Matt) the best out of anyone in the cast. My verdict: Returning.

Keegan-Michael Key: If Keegan was to return, they would have to pay him more money then the show would probably be willing to give. My verdict: Departing.

Bobby Lee: Even if Bobby's show failed, I think he would still want to leave by this point. He had put in 8 years, and I honestly don't think Bobby could put anymore years in. He was going to be leaving the show after this season no matter what and just stick to doing stand-up or getting another television deal. My verdict: Departing.

Arden Myrin: Despite my hatred toward her, Arden has been on the show for 4 years, and since MAD has never let go of a cast member after 4 seasons before, I doubt they would start now. My verdict: Returning.

Nicole Parker: She is technically already gone now, so the answer to this is pretty obvious. My verdict: Departing

Johnny Sanchez: Johnny really improved after his horrible season 13, and he is a great figure for MAD's target audience. If MAD didn't get rid of him last season, I see no reason in why they would be getting rid of him now when he is finally good. My verdict: Returning.

Erica Ash: Erica is the most undecided of all the rookies. She hasn't done great and she seems underused, but she is a black woman, so she does have the factor of the casting directors saying "do we really want to go through finding another black woman?" If she wasn't going to come back, then I think that would have been a sign that MAD was done looking for another black woman. This one is a toss up so I am not confident about my verdict but I have to pick something so... My verdict: Departing and the ending of the black woman role on MADtv.

Matt Braunger: He has been the rookie that has proven himself the most, and with his star rising, MAD would be stupid not to keep him on for at least 2 more seasons. My verdict: Returning.

Eric Price: Probably the most beloved rookie of the group by the fans, he is the new edition Michael. With his range and his talent, MAD can't afford to lose him. My verdict: Returning.

Lauren Pritchard: She just hasn't made a good impression on the show. She hasn't done much worth mentioning. My verdict: Departing.

Here is who I think MAD would have hired as the feature players of the next season.

2 women, and 1 black male.

Even though I like some cast members more then others, I would hope as many of them as possible would/would be asked to return. I def. would want Crista and Lauren back

Keegan would most likely be leaving because he stated in an article that this was going to be his last season. Therefore, if MAD wanted him back, they would have had to pay him a pretty penny. And even then he might not have come back considering the fact that he would still have a steady job over on Animal Planet's America's Funniest Animals.

Bobby: I'm pretty sure Bobby will leave. He has enough work outside of MADtv to get noticed, and Comedy Central offered him his own show, so DEPARTING

Nicole: She already left, but this time, it's a good thing. I hope she becomes a star someday. DEPARTED

Johnny: Johnny will come back. I can see a lot of potential in him. Nacho is already becoming a YouTube success. RETURNING

Erica: Even though, Erica hasn't done that much, I feel that 14B could be her breakthrough half. She was great on LOGO, but I bet if she stayed she'd be the next Debra. Well, okay, if she stayed for 7 more seasons. RETURNING

Matt: I think he'll stay. He seems to get along with everybody, and he's good on his own. RETURNING

Eric: Yes. Definitely. RETURNING

Lauren: Lauren is a mixed bag. She's the weakest of the FPs right now, but is that her fault or the producers? Uncle Ed showed a side to her we're not to used to seeing. If she stayed she could become the female equal of Pat or Josh--playing the serious roles better than anybody else in the cast. So RETURNING/DEPARTING?

I realize that I'm being quite optimistic about this, but do you cynics really want a 5-member S15 cast?

bobby will return

nicole will decide to come back

michael mcdonald will make a triumphant return and sign a 50 year contract. the stuart sketches will just get better and better over time

ike barinholtz, stephnie weir, and jordan peele will all come back

finally, they're going to clone crista twice. the real crista and one of her clones are going to return to madtv, while the other crista ventures off into other awesome projects. we will now see sketches featuring both heidi klum and hannah montana at the same time

How can you tell when someone goes from loving a cast member, to stalking them outside there house windows? This is one way.

Nicole: 0.05% chance, my verdict: Already Gone
Johnny: 89.3% chance, my verdict: Stay

Erica: 53.1%, stay- by a slim margin
Matt: 99.9%, stay
Eric: 97.2%, stay
Lauren: somewhere between 49.999999999999 and 50.000000000001%, I say stay by less than a trllionth of a percentage point
