Default Better Off Ted

This show needs its own thread. It's smart, it's funny, it's back for a second season, and it just got universal acclaim by metacritic.

So, let's discuss!

I totally agree with you MADfan. It is honestly one of the most unrespected and funniest shows on television right now along with the new Scrubs. I thought the first season was good, but the first 2 episodes this season are just fantastic! Portia De Rosse is like Jane Lynch on Glee only much more heartless and funny! Unfortunately, it's likely going to get cancelled, since it's pulling in only over 3 million and it was recently announced that doubled up at 8:30, and 9:30 between Scrubs episodes to burn them off. I really hope it doesn't though, as it so deserves to stay!

That makes sense I guess. Modern Family turned out to be their breakout sitcom hit, and The Middle and CougarTown are doing well, too. No use keeping around two sitcoms with poor ratings.

Yeah, but Scrubs should take the 8:00 spot. That is where they belong since they have so many connections to that night's shows.

Eh, not really. It's no different than CBS having most of its comedies on Mondays, but two on Wednesdays.

Plus, Scrubs gets significantly lower ratings than those shows, so it'd probably be another Hank situation.

People in the United States who are not watching Better Off Ted and Scrubs should be ashamed of themselves! These two shows are great! The new Scrubs is great, and Ted just seems to be getting better and better. If people would just tune into this instead of NCIS they would see how good of a show it is.

I don't get how NCIS gets such good ratings. I saw an episode and everyone on there just seemed so evil. I was expecting one of them to stab someone in the back, because they all seem so evil. NCIS even gets 13-16 million viewers for reruns. How is this possible, which to me is the real mindboggling thing.

I can't believe they are probably both going to be canceled because no one was willing to tune in. I don't blame this on ABC, because I felt they really tried to make this show work, and gave it good promotion, I blame the American people for which the ratings are determined. Shame on you for letting 2 good shows go down the drain!

Last nights double Ted was awesome! So funny and hilarious! Especially the first episode where a company memo error told everyone that they had to start swearing. It also had SNL's Chris Pharnell in it, which I liked.

Here are some deleted/alternate scenes from the episode, in which the swears get even more raunchier and even more funny.
