I doubt MADtv is ending I heard or read somewhere there is a S13 but why would Crista start crying is she for real crying or faking.

Well, considering all of her characters on the show (and off the show...) are usually depressed/emotional girls, you never know, but even if it is real, its probably just cause the season is ending.

This potentially being the last year... wow. That really makes me nervous. I hope that they do renew the show, of course, what fan wouldn't? The producers must have some hope too, as they have brought on Lisa. I think it wouldn't make sense to bring someone new in if you really believed you weren't coming back.

I'll try to keep my hopes high, and pray that June is a good month for us. Come on FOX, what else do you have for the eleven o'clock hour? Do you want us to go to SNL? Off topic, but I do think SNL has been pretty decent lately. I can't see the MAD budget being very high, seeing as they shoot from what, August to February? And we know sketch comedy actors aren't rolling in the dough.

Whatever it comes to, I hope for the best. And if MAD is canceled, I hope Frank keeps us tuned in on what he does in the future, and the rest of the cast.

There has to be a 13th season because there has to be a 300th episode so we can see the Vancome Lady because she promised

Another reason the show can't be canceled is because I haven't flown to LA to see a taping so they can't in good conscience cancel it right?

I like these taping reports, I'm all for having as many insiders as possible so hopefully this can continue in September.

And I hope season 13 comes, everytime I start loving a show it gets cancelled: Angel, Buffy, Even Stevens, Road Rules (it came back!) If Madtv does I'll be very upset.

And yes, Vancome Lady promised to see us....so we have to have a 13th season!

I dont really see why FOX wouldn't renew it, and I think if they were planning to end it, we've had heard about it by now. Besides, Frank said things look good.

Thats such a stupid rule though.wouldn't you think that a cast member posting on a forum would generate more excitement and give forum members more of a reason to tune in?

I find,for myself anyway,when an actor you admire/enjoy treats you with some respect,that it just increases how much you like them and will support their work.
Sucks when its the other way and they turn out to be huge self centred tossbags...thats when people tune out

To clear up a couple things, I was never told not to post on planetmad, but it was alluded to me that I should not and should stop immediately. That was a while ago, so I guess I'm being stubborn. Also, at this point we are not sure if the show is coming back. Season 12 was the final year of a 3 year contract with FOX, none of us know what is going to happen. Things look very optimistic. I have no idea when we will know, should be before June. And to clear any speculation in regards to the cast, I'm don't know if we'll be hiring, firing, or any people are moving on. That should become clear after we know whether or not the show is coming back.
