Lastly, in late-night metered market scores, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" (6.2/15) easily beat "Mad TV" (4.3/10) on FOX.

Was that for this weekend? I haven't been recording data for reruns, but even for a rerun against a new SNL, those are very high numbers! At least it was for a good repeat (1004).

Yep it was for this weekend

I know, it is high...MAD TV usually gets down in the 3.3's or somewhere in that area...

Hopefully this weekend can get those same numbers!

MADtv wouldn't qualify for a list like that, it only competes in late-night. I don't know how it would fit into a list like that.

We'll beat 'em someday...let's try for one week (this week maybe, since it'll be a rerun) that everyone who switches to SNL either halfway through MADtv or after it's over simply just turns off the TV and goes to bed. Plus, this next week's SNL will be a rerun.

But, just to note, if you're one of those people who respect SNL but hate the way it's going nowadays, tune into the Classic All-Nite SNL episode this Saturday (Sunday Morning) - it'll be the first ever episode from 1975.

Updated. MADtv coming in second place was actually justified this week - 1018 was a letdown, and SNL was actually a somewhat reasonable substitute. Just my personal opinion...

Ignoring the three episodes we don't have ratings info for, the highest rated episode of the season was episode #1007 (3.5/7). The lowest rated episode was episode #1021 (2.3/6).

Ratings for reruns during the summer will not be posted. See you in September for Season 11, let's get those ratings much much higher!

I wonder what were the ratings when MADtv premiere in 1995 compared to this season's premiere.
