Life After MAD

Will left MADtv on his own terms, at least by what I think in this video, to pursue other television opportunity's. His first role outside of MADtv would be as Carl Monari on the sitcom Less than Perfect. He did a total of 44 episodes on the show which ran on ABC from 2002-2006. Recently, Will has started appearing as Russ, a father with baby triplets that cause him nothing but misery on the Fox sitcom Til' Death. However, Will's most notable appearances since his leaving of MADtv have been in his home country of Canada, specifically his home area of Vancouver. In Canada since leaving MADtv, he hosted both the 7th Annual Canadian Comedy Awards, and the National Hockey League Awards Show (filmed in Vancouver) in 2006, and has done 2 guest starring roles on the Canadian and home town filmed show Robson Arms as Bark in 2 episodes. Will has also started up a production company in Vancouver with his friends entitled Lord Mucker Entertainment. The company is now in post-production of its first film For Christ's Sake, directed by Jackson Douglas, who is married to Will's entry buddy Alex Borstein, who stars in the flick along with Will. It also features former MADtv writer Michael Hitchcock in a supporting role. Even with all these events going on in Will's life, he is still taking more work. In May 2008, Will got a starring role on a new show coming to ABC next season (2008-2009) called, the 5-Year Plan, where he plays a twenty something man among other twenty something's trying to re-claim the moments they missed out on in their 20's.
Even with all these projects going on in Will's life, he still has found time to return to the show where he spent a great 5 years dishing out the laughs, by making a total of 2 returns so far to the show.

November 8, 2003: Will returns to MADtv for the first time since he left 2 seasons earlier. He was in a total of 2 sketches. One with him impersonating Kenny Rogers, and another of him impersonating Bill Clinton on Real *********ing Talk. Watch the Kenny Rogers Punked sketch, Watch the Real *********ing Talk sketch

November 13, 2004: Will returns to MADtv again in the 10th anniversary season of the show, he is in the opening, a Kenny Rogers sketch, and introducing a new character Professor Gigglepepper. Read the opening transcript, Watch the Kenny Roger's sketch, Read the transcript for the Professor Gigglepepper sketch

2007: Will was suppose to return for MADtv's 300th episode in season 13, but due to a writers strike, and the fact that he was trying to get on a show with a network, he must have thought it was a bad idea to cross the picket lines to guest star on MADtv, and possibly upset the writers guild, and did not attend the 300th episode.

Even with all the work that Will has been doing, I am sure that he can find time to return to MADtv, as he has an attachment to the show that can, and has been proven to stand the test of time. Let's hope he can make up for the episode he missed in 2007 as I, like I am sure many of you out there, can't ever get enough of Will.

Actually he was pretty much the same dull moves in the ring, though he is a very good technical wrestler.

But Shawn Michaels kicks much more ass!
