From Frank's mailing list:

This weekend’s episode of MADtv should have a ton of Frank in it! We have been told that Frank is in the promos for MADtv this week as well. So if you are watching FOX, you might see him as the ugly girl with a giant head!

The following is a list of sketches that Frank will be in, which we have been told will air this week. Obviously this is subject to (and most likely will) change.
1. George Bush to open the show
2. Ugly girl on Dr. Phil Show
3. One of the N'Sync guys
4. Andy Rooney
5. Viagra Commercial
6. Little part in birthday sketch
7. Little madden segment on Spears on sports with Jim Rome (also in another part of it).

hidin in my closet- an eminem parody, with frank as george w. bush. i loved mo's impression.

lorraine at florida university- this was hilarious... was waiting for a lorraine sketch since forever... loved when she drank water from the fountain, the library, and when she had the bullhorn... (which reminded me of the thrift store sketch btw) ...all classic moments. wonder if they'll do a lorraine in jail sketch... :p

dr. phil- ya gotta love oprah when she dressed up. dr. phil was a little mean, but i loved his little "southern terms". like, "down in the south, i'm not a doctor".

'n sync- a little stupid... pointless really... a little late to be making fun of lance bass' going into space... i miss will's impression of him, that was great... but this was pointless cause lance isn't going.

viagara commercial- hitting things with your penis... sounds fun. i would just love to hit people one day, and they wouldn't notice.

60 minutes/david alan grier/eminem/alan rooney- josh's eminem impression wasn't really sounding like him too much, but on a whole this was a good chuckle.

29th birthday- LOL i was so glad they made fun of those people that come out and sing happy birthday to you in restaurants! "i had no idea this would take so long" from mo, LOL! they are really annoying!

aries spears' sports show- by this time with no aries, i got my fill. wow, i loved all the impressions, especially mo's anna character, LOL! loved madden, shaq, and evander! good on the whole about those stupid sports shows!

the strokes perform- ummm... call me young... but who are these people? never heard of them.

the strokes perform yet again- i had a feeling they were gonna do this... i absolutely hate it when bands perform twice. and as this was the last sketch of the night/george bush watching madtv, this was ok... cant believe they had the fans go on stage, that was a first.

an average episode... a 6.5/10

I pretty much only liked the Lorraine, Dr. Phil, and Fuddruckers sketches last night. The Viagra one was okay. Cute!

As for the rest....eh.

I loved the Lorraine sketch, for a while I thought they weren't gonna do anymore... The rest were ok... Is it me or is Aries Spears being cast in some lame sketches this season... That Wayne Brady thing (ugh) and this new one "Spears on Sports", was pretty lame... Did Aries even appear in any other sketch this episode, or was it just this one? I cant seem to remember...And yeah, the double if you can call it "performance" by the strokes sucked ass... I liked how Bobby Lee introduced them: "One of my favourite bands, THE STROKES!" yeah right, lol...

Hidin' in my Closet: This was great with impressions but the writing lacked like the rest of the 247 music video parodies done so far this year. Weak satire too.

Lorraine at Florida University: What can i say, this was the episode's highlight. I liked the handcuff part the best.

Dr. Phil: A little long, the writing was nothing special but the cast still continues to carry the sketch. Oprah was great when she first came on!

'NSYNC Press Interview: Quote everything Madislove just said.

60 Minutes: this was okay. Lacked in writing and satire but the cast tried their best. Dragged out to long too.

Viagra: Another great commercial parody! Definitly the second best sketch of the evening.

Birthday Train: Finally they made fun of these waiters. The large cast involvment made it even better. The satire sketches are pretty good this season.

Aries On Sports: I did not like this. Some of the impressions and Mo were okay but it was just a cheap way to get laughs like the breast thing at the end.

The Strokes Perform #1

The Strokes Perform #2 (wasn't one enough)

George/Barbara Bush TV: This was okay. I like these improved closings.

Overall: This show wasn't anything special. The writing was boring but the cast tried anyways which saved it. 6/10

Music Video Parody: "Hiding in My Closet" - A parody of Eminem's song "Cleaning Out My Closet". George W. Bush (Frank Caliendo) is hiding from the wrath of his domineering mother, Barbara Bush (Mo Collins). I liked this video parody a lot. For once, a great Bush impression was done; Christian Duguay's Bush impression in season six was terrible, and Will Sasso's Bush impression in season seven was even worse, and I didn't know that was possible. But Frank really pulled this one off, especially the voice, which just proves how versatile he is with the impressions. Mo was also very funny as Barbara Bush. The satire here was funny too, but it's the performances that makes this music video parody very funny.

Lorraine: Florida University Video - Lorraine (Mo) is taking a tour around Florida University while her husband Carl tapes for her son, Carl Jr. (Frank). She goes around, asks girls if they'd go out with her son, annoys the librarians, and at one point is arrested for trying to start a rally, because "she doesn't want him to go to a school with no spirit!" Lorraine is my favorite character, so I had high expectations for this. And I'm sorry to say that I was quite disappointed. And the main reason for that is so much of it was improvised. Plus, Lorraine talks very quietly here, even when she does her cough, which is the only trademark thing of hers that she does. Not to say there weren't some funny lines, like "we're here at Florida University, the big F U!" But overall this was kind of a letdown. But it's good for what it is, and Mo did a good job considering it was improvised.

Dr. Phil: Plastic Surgery: The topic for the day on "The Dr. Phil Show" is plastic surgery. Dr. Phil (Michael McDonald) interviews different women who think they don't need plastic surgery when they really do. The first woman, played by Frank, is constantly insulted by Phil, who makes her repeat things like "the only way I could ever have sex is if I commit female rape!" Then, a woman with huge boobs (Mo) comes out, and Phil explains to her that she still needs breast implants. The third woman (Stephnie Weir) says she doesn't need plastic surgery because she feels very useful. She makes the mistake of calling him simply Phil, rather than Dr. Phil, and he punches her in the face for it. Then, backstage, we see Oprah (Debra), who says she will appear on the show disguised, and later surprise Dr. Phil. She goes on the show disguised as "Opal", and Dr. Phil constantly makes fun of her looks. Oprah, very insulted, takes off her disguise and violently kills Dr. Phil. This was an awesome sketch! All the cast members here did a great job, especially Debra as Oprah. Several funny moments to this. Thumbs up.

'N Sync Travels to the Center of the Earth: Because Lance is going to space, the remaining members of 'N Sync (minus Justin who is now solo) decide that they will go to the center of Earth to make a video. Frank plays Joey, Josh Meyers plays JC, and Ike Barinholtz plays Chris. They hold a press conference over this, and show the giant earthworm that they will ride to get to the center of Earth. They go, and their video is shown. This wasn't great. The premise is pretty original, and the impressions are good, but it kind of dragged. Not to say it was bad, not to say it was excellent. Just kind of dull.

60 Minutes Interview With Eminem: David Alan Grier (who is a guest star) interviews Eminem (Josh) on "60 Minutes". And that's basically it. They later get into a fight when Alan Rooney (also the guest star) and a studio exec (Frank) come in because Eminem is getting all insulting. This was pretty bad; it's the worst sketch on the show since the Ted Koppel interview one in episode #801. I don't know what the writers were thinking with this; actually, I wonder if any thought was put into this at all. But at least Josh did well with the impression, but that unfortunately didn't save the skit. And it was pretty long too. Thumbs down for this one.

Viagra Commercial: A bunch of co-workers (Debra, Ron Pederson, Simon Helberg, Mo) notice that something is "different" about this one guy, played by Frank. But they can't figure out what it is. Then we see that he has a huge erection, at one point knocking things over on a desk. At one point, one of his coworkers (Bobby Lee) trips on it and gets poked in the eye with it, and then asks if Frank got a haircut. I found this to be very funny, especially Bobby's part. And it was a pretty creative idea. Everybody here did a good job. And it was pretty short, so that the joke wasn't constantly drilled in to the point of being unfunny. Thumbs up.

The Birthday Train: A man (Ike) and his friends (Mo, Michael, Frank, Stephnie) go to a restaurant for his 29th birthday. Then those workers that come out, do a routine and sing happy birthday for seemingly forever appear. They call themselves the Birthday Train (Josh, Ron, Simon, and Debra). Their routine goes on and on. Finally, the man yells at them, but they lash back, saying that their job is so hard (Josh: "do you know how hard it is to find sex when you have this pirate moustache?"). Kind of hard to explain this one, but it was great. Very good, actually. It was a great idea and executed very well by the cast, an excellent ensemble sketch. Thumbs up.

Aries On Sports: Aries Spears has his own sports show with Mo Collins. He interviews different celebrities, such as Shaquille O'Neal, all played by Aries. At one point, John Madden (Frank) gives his opinion. When Mo tries to, Aries cuts her out because she's a woman. This sketch was mainly to show off Aries's impressions. This was only so-so. It went on too long, and it was very weird. I didn't like Aries's impressions. His impressions are always either good or very generic, and the ones here are very generic. And a lot of this just seemed to be cheap laughs. Still, you can't go wrong with the Madden impression, which was indeed very funny. And Mo trying to get her word in at the end was funny too. So overall, the good and bad things pretty much equal out, to make for a so-so sketch.

MUSICAL PERFORMANCE - The Strokes #1: The Strokes perform. This was pretty bad. I don't like musical performances in the first place, but I thought Xzibit's and Shaggy's performances in the past two episodes were good. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The song was dull, and the lead singer's face had a doped expression on it the entire time. In fact, this was almost as bad as TenaciousD's musical performances in episode #722. Dear God, I hope musical performances aren't a staple on the show this season. Unfortunately, the worst was yet to come after this performance was over.

MUSICAL PERFORMANCE - The Strokes #2: The Strokes continue performing, but they let the audience run up on stage and jam with them. This was so damn pathetic. It's bad enough they snuck in two performances, but the first one was terrible in the first place, and this is only worse. If they were going to include the Strokes more in their episode, they should've had them in a sketch or something. But no, they resorted to this. It's painfully obvious that they did this last minute because they couldn't fit in another sketch.

Close - Barbara and George Watch "MadTV": Bush (Frank) and Barbara (Mo) are watching "MadTV". Bush is still very intimidated by his mother, who is making very rude remarks about the show and the people on it and the people who watch it. This was great! I'd consider this the funniest, and best, closing of the season so far. It looks like the improved closings are here to stay, which I'm glad to see.

Overall: I can sum up this episode in two words: huge disappointment. Season eight roared in with five excellent episodes - you could only expect this one to be as well. Plus, it was a sweeps episode, which makes it even more disappointing. And the Lorraine sketch was a real letdown, because her sketches are usually so good. The Eminem sketch was terrible; Lorraine, 'N Sync Press Interview, and the Aries Spears Show were only mediocre. That leaves only five excellent sketches, three of them being VERY short, leaving only two excellent regular-length sketches. Of course, the bad musical performance didn't help, and I am pretty mad that they included two of them in there. The main problem here was the writing. It was just so dumb and weak at many points. The performances here from the cast were actually quite good, they saved this from being a terrible episode. Even the guest stars were good in their crappy roles. Speaking of the cast, Jill-Michelle Melean is again absent, which is disappointing because she could've helped this episode out; I don't know the reason for her frequent absence from the show, but she needs to get her act together, I'm getting quite frustrated with it. But, her fill-in Simon Helberg were brought in with good results. Frank Caliendo completely dominated the show, appearing in every sketch, which is very surprising after missing half of last season. But he was very good. Again, the big problem here was writing. Hopefully this episode was just a fluke, not a sign of quality for the rest of season eight, if this is the best they could come up with for a sweeps episode. 6/10.

Don't get me wrong, I like Jill. A lot, actually. I just don't like her very small participation in the show.

Actually, I emailed her about it Haven't heard back yet..

Like Frank last season, Jill-Michele only gets so many roles being a newer cast member. Most cast members have side projects like when Alex started Family Guy but never missed until she left. The producers won't give her as many roles because she's new: that's not her fault.

I was watching this ep again and I noticed that during the Spears on Sports sketch, at the end when Mo just has her bra on and she's covered with the whipped cream, I noticed she had this blue stuff on her left arm its kinda faded but noticeable on her upper arm...........It's been bugging me since the first time I saw it.

Did anyone else notice this? If so what do you think it is?

Default Episode #806

Music Video: George W. Bush "Hiding in My Closet"
I had seen this before, so watching it again it doesn't seem as funny as the first time, but it was still okay. I like Mo's Barbara Bush impression.
3/5

Lorraine: Florida University Video
Carl, run! Serpentine! LOL, what the hell is serpentine? This was okay, I've seen better Lorraine sketches, but it was still a crack up " Tuna Cassarole to fill my mouth hole! We wan't meat that can't be beat!"
4/5

Oprah Winfrey's Dr. Phil Show: Plastic Surgery
This was okay, Stephnie was funny. The joke Mo made when she laughed about her boobs leaking out of her mouth when she was laughing... it looked so staged that I just couldn't laugh at it. Oprah was funny when she came on and was giving the audience hi fives. This was way too long and Michael got annoying after a while.
3/5

Music Video: *NSYNC "Center Of My World"
I thought this was actually pretty funny. Ike was good here. When they were riding the Giant Worm and doing the hump motions, and then when they were dancing it was funny. Bobby played Satan in this sketch.
3/5

Viagra Commercial
This was pretty funny, especially the bit where he put it in Bobby's eye. Um, not much else to say about this one, at least it was short I guess
3/5

60 Minutes Interview w/ Eminem
Whoever David Allen Grier was playing was also played by Jordan in that sketch on the christmas episode. I thougt Jordan's was funnier. Josh's Eminem was okay, not great, but Frank's Andy Rooney was great, especially the bit where he said "I don't have Parkinsons, but I take the medicine so I don't get it" lol
3.5/5

The Birthday Train
This was pretty funny "Do you have any idea how hard it is to get laid with a handlebar moustache?" So true! Errr, I mean poor Josh This was a funny sketch, but not overly hilarious
3.5/5

Spears On Sports
I thought this was pretty funny. I love Frank's John Madden, and Aries impressons were okay for once, Mo was great, the only part I didn't like was that Aries played himself. Those bits just weren't all that funny IMO.
3/5

Close: George W. and Barbara Bush Watch "MadTV"
It was funny hearing Bush talk about VIP and "Los Mehicana" If I spelt it right, which I doubt.
3/5

Overall
This was the worst episode so far this season, but I didn't completely hate it. There were some good aspects, and some bad ones, but the thing that stuck out most to me was the lack of STEPHNIE! Her characters (Dot, Mrs Campbell, Dorothy Lanier, Angela, Dr Kylie, Anna Nicole) can make any episode that much better for me. Frank was in every sketch, and Bobby had minimal occurances. Jill was MIA, but I expect it and I know why so there is no reason to get upset over it. I wish she hadn't left. She injected alot of life into the show

I'll give this episode a 6/10

Note to Mystere:
Ike played Chris Kirkpatrick, and Frank played Joey Fatone. You have them listed the other way around. Ron also played a reporter and Bobby played Satan at the very end of the music video.
