what does everyone think?

I agree with the whole idea of teaching kids personal responsibility for their futures and education, but there's a load of negative uproar right now surrounding his remarks.

Man, Obama sure does seem to hate xbox. Must be a PS3 guy.

Other than that, what the fuck are people so upset about? I read through the whole thing and can't find anything I could imagine someone finding offensive. It's like a better-written version of any high school graduation speech.

What exactly is the negative uproar centered on?

apparently its because obama dared make personal responsibility the focus and some people see it as the government telling their kids what to do and how to be productive citizens of society

Well looks like there's more controversy when it comes to Schoolgate as
A video promoting "leftist" views caused controversy at a school in Utah
.

I know this sounds a little Republican, but I agree with the controversy. Some of the points they bring up like "to be of service to Barack Obama", and the plastic bag things among others I agree were too political, especially if they are directed towards impressionable minds. School should be a neutral place for learning about everything, and not promote certain views.

What does everyone else think?

I say "it's not THAT big of a deal" on the grounds that I really don't care about what celebrities do or think.

Unless it's Christina Hendricks. Then I'm all ears...

That was the dumbest video. Anthony Kedis is a tard, and wtf Jason Bateman?

It was a hint fascist....
but I don't really give a damn.
