What makes you think that every teen is an Mtv clone? Not everyone under 20 years old only goes for pop music. A lot of teens I know are into more underground/lesser known bands. You can't stereotype a person based on age. And I may be the only one who thinks this lately, but Green Day's newest album is really good. I couldn't care less if they changed their sound or whatever everyone keeps telling me, if you listened to 1039 / Smoothed Out Slappy Hours it's less "punk" sounding then American Idiot, even if it was on a independant label.

I wasn't stereotyping anyone, and I wasn't bashing Green Day. Green Day is the only "pop-punk" band that I really enjoy. I like American Idiot, but I think its singles have been massively overplayed and overblown. And I don't really mind artists changing their sound as long as I like it on a personal-taste level.

By "teens," I was referring to the teenybopper crowd- the kind that uses Mtv as a barometer for coolness. I understand that most teens out there are not Mtv sheep, and do not just follow what is popular or trendy. I was mentioning merely those young people who are easily influenced by the media and aren't willingly open to "other things" (in this case, artists cast into VH1 Land). Mtv clones, by the way, don't always have to be teens. I know some over 24-years-old who are still into watching stuff like The Real World or Newlyweds.

Sorry if I was being too vague.

It's Lizzie McGuire. Yikes, some people just can't discern fact from sarcasm, can they?

This is her worst song I think. It is sooooooooooo poppy it kills me. Her other songs, I admit are catchy but she sounds like **** in this and its bad...

So yea, I'm not a fan.
