Post Episode #1312 (Aired 2008-03-29)

Juno II
Ellen Page (Crista Flanagan) and Michael Cera (Dan Oster) return for the "long awaited" sequel Juno II. Juno has a hard time telling her parents Bren (Nicole Parker) and Mac (Michael McDonald) that she killed a homeless person, but gets an extra push to do so from her friend Leah (Arden Myrin). Shortly after, Juno is spotted in the alley where the dead homeless person lays. The store clerk (Johnny Sanchez) tells her this is one situation she can't avoid. Outside in a false kitchen, Mabel-Rose (Daheli Hall) spots Bleeker who happens to be "hanging low," revealing his shorts are too short for him. Bleeker is afraid that Juno is pregnant again, but she confirms that all she did was commit hobocide. The two then decide to have a sing-along similar to the first movie.

Credits: Crista Flanagan (Ellen Page: Juno MacGuff), Arden Myrin (Olivia Thirlby: Leah), Michael McDonald (J.K. Simmons: Mac MacGuff), Nicole Parker (Allison Janney: Bren MacGuff), Johnny Sanchez (Store Owner), Daheli Hall (Mabel-Rose), Dan Oster (Michael Cera: Paulie Bleeker)

Barack Obama & Oprah: "O"
Presidential candidate Barack Obama appears on stage saying that there is one woman that is truly responsible for his successful campaign. He ensures everyone that it is not his wife, but rather, Oprah Winfrey (Daheli Hall). He begins to sing a song about how Oprah's endorsement has pushed him ahead in the polls. Oprah then sings about how she creates and destroys, and if anyone crosses her they'll disappear like Steadman and author James Frey. She also mentions that her biggest mistake was Dr. Phil, and that she has more power than Jesus and God. The two continue to sing affirming that the future is bright and also black.

Minnesota Governor Aaron Castel Resigns
Channel 4 News reports breaking news over the resignation of Minnesota Governor Aaron Castel (Michael McDonald) as a result of a sex scandal. During the press conference, Governor Castel begins to subtly insult his wife Mrs. Castel (Crista Flanagan) while thanking her for standing by his side. He continues by laying out reasons as to why a man might sway, ranging from their wife's excessive weight-gain in the thighs, to nighttime flatulence. Governor Castel then mentions how sometimes a man might troll the internet looking for Serbian escorts that could fulfill desires. Once Governor Castel opens the floor for questions, Eric (Dan Oster), one of the reporters, asks Mrs. Castel if is she was aware of her husband covering up to 3 prostitutes with drapes in her scrapbooking room. She responds that she wasn't and still plans to stand by him. The next reporter, Jane (Arden Myrin), asks Mrs. Castel if she has seen the photographs of her husband dressed as Liza Minnelli masturbating at the state fair. Jane hands her the pictures and asks Mrs. Castel if she still intends to be a flaccid spineless doormat for her husband. The last reporter (Johnny Sanchez) questions Mrs. Castel as to why she humiliates herself and if she has any self-respect, to which she responds "no". The press conference ends with Eric pointing out that Governor Castel is currently being serviced by a poorly disguised Serbian prostitute, with whom he leaves.

Animation: Fun with Clip Art
A man and woman are shown riding bicycles. The man tells the woman, Karen, that it is indeed a gorgeous day. She refuses to respond. The man asks her if she either wants water or a protein bar. Karen still refuses to respond. He then asks her if everything is okay, and Karen responds that she did not want that abortion. The man changes the subject by asking her again if she wants a protein bar.

Celebrity Rehab: Introduction
Dr. Drew Pinsky discusses how people love lame celebrities whose careers have gone in the crapper. As a result, these "celebrities" find themselves doing exploitative reality shows just for an ounce of fame. Celebrities such as Phylicia Rashad (Keegan-Michael Key), Aaron Carter (Crista Flanagan), Macy Gray (Daheli Hall), Ashley Tisdale (Nicole Parker), Mayim Bialik (Arden Myrin), Wolf (Johnny Sanchez), Kid from Kid N Play (Jordan Peele), and George Takei (Bobby Lee) all come together for VH1's Celebrity Rehab. The session starts with Ashley Tisdale revealing her addiction to caffeinated drinks and candy since she is not allowed to do drugs. She also reveals a new music video called "Super-Slut" as a means to break away from her High School Musical image. Macy Gray assures everyone that she has never done drugs before, while George Takei reveals that he himself fooled around with 2 Armenians he met on Craigslist. Phylicia mentions that she has had an addiction to roofies ever since Dr. Bill Cosby spiked her drinks with them during "The Cosby Show." Mayim also confirms that Dr. Cosby has done the same to her, and that Aaron Carter was present when it happened. Aaron gets upset and begins to strangle Mayim, when Wolf decides "he wants to eat somebody" and jumps in. Dr. Drew smiles as the celebrities begin attacking each other.

Credits: Michael McDonald (Dr. Drew Pinsky), Keegan-Michael Key (Phylicia Rashad), Crista Flanagan (Aaron Carter), Daheli Hall (Macy Gray), Nicole Parker (Ashley Tisdale), Arden Myrin (Mayim Bialik), Johnny Sanchez (Wolf), Jordan Peele (Kid), Bobby Lee (George Takei)

Celebrity Rehab: New Arrival
Dr. Drew welcomes back a Celebrity Rehab alumnus, Jeff Conaway (Dan Oster), who suffered from a relapse. As a result, Jeff resorts to mumbling as a form of communication, informing Dr. Drew that he does drugs because he hurt his back playing Kenickie in Grease, and then hurt his back again when flicking his hair back while playing Bobby in Taxi. He continues to mumble, which Dr. Drew translates as him saying he loved Phylicia in "A Raisin in the Sun" with P. Diddy. Ashley Tisdale continues by saying that she is glad to have finally taken action by releasing her new video "Super-Slut." Aaron intervenes by saying that the track sucks, and begins beat boxing and saying he has more talent in the tip of his dick than Ashley does. Wolf begins to howl and attempts to attack Kid, who tells him to watch the fade.

Credits: Michael McDonald (Dr. Drew Pinsky), Keegan-Michael Key (Phylicia Rashad), Crista Flanagan (Aaron Carter), Daheli Hall (Macy Gray), Nicole Parker (Ashley Tisdale), Arden Myrin (Mayim Bialik), Johnny Sanchez (Wolf), Jordan Peele (Kid), Bobby Lee (George Takei), Dan Oster (Jeff Conaway)

The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man: Hillary Clinton
Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (Nicole Parker) crosses paths with Mofaz (Michael McDonald). Hillary complains that the media has been viciously brutal towards her, even going as far as pointing out her camel-toe. Mofaz says that his wife not only has a camel toe, but also has camel hooves, a camel face, and two humps on her back and can spit 40 feet. Mofaz tells Hillary that he voted for Obama in the primaries because his middle name is Hussein, which happens to be one of Mofaz's middle names. Hillary points out that John McCain will most likely win because he was a Vietnam vet, and was a P.O.W. living in a tiger cage. Mofaz argues that if that's all that is required to run for President, he should run because he was raised in a raccoon's cage. Hillary mentions that the campaign is very similar to Mofaz's life in that she eats lousy food and is even stuck wearing the same clothes. She decides to air them out when a large gust of dusty wind blows out. Hillary confides in Mofaz that a woman is lower than a black man on the social totem pole. The two finally pull up to Motel 6, where Mofaz proposes to have sex with Hillary. Hillary reveals she hasn't had sex since 2001, while Mofaz points out he hasn't had sex since his wife weighed 2001. Hillary agrees and heads over to the hotel, when Obama arrives to finalize their plan to ruin Hillary's career.

Red Carpet: American Idol's Top 12 Party
Arden and Bobby head out to the American Idol Top 12 Party. In the limo, Bobby begins to make advances toward Arden and even confesses that he loves American Idol, although he's never seen it before. Arden prefers the scandals instead, especially the scandal involving David Hernandez who was revealed to have been a stripper at a gay bar. Arden decides to interview David Archuleta, who turns out to be an 8 year old boy who happens to be holding a mic for the Ellen show. Arden doesn't believe him to be real and asks him if he's ever had a scandal. Arden then calls him a dick once he leaves. Arden and Bobby run into Jason Castro and compare him to John Travolta from Battlefield Earth. They point out that Jason's hair was moving, and that a little squirrel's head popped out. Constantine Maroulis arrives and Arden mentions she hopes Bobby gets voted off this spring on MADtv. He tries to speak to Ramiele Malubay in Korean, even going as far as requesting she marry him. Blake Lewis shows up and decides to have a beat-off contest with Bobby. David Cook gives Arden his necklace as a sign of affection, and Blake Lewis tops him by making out with her, proving that she will not die alone. Arden continues to hit on Michael Johns for being Australian and thinks they'll even get married. Arden runs into Chikezie and tells him that her nickname is Easy Chick and if they got married, her name would be Easy Chick Chikezie. Bobby has a turnaround in the limo ride home saying that he now loves American Idol and tries to make out with Arden. Bobby asks to watch her shower and is turned down. Arden then asks the driver to pull over so she can get out of the limo.

Race Ghost
Angela (Daheli Hall), a store clerk, helps a woman (Nicole Parker) pick out a dress. The woman goes to the register to pay for the dress and is asked by the cashier (Jordan Peele) if she was helped. The woman struggles to describe the clerk who helped her because she doesn't want to say the clerk was black. She tries to use other methods of description by pointing out the clerk would definitely not like the show "Friends", and probably considers Abraham Lincoln to be her favorite president. The woman finally gives in and says the clerk who helped her was black, and the cashier reveals that it was Angela, but she died 2 years ago. An announcer then reveals that this was a scene from the show "Race Ghost."

The Cameraman with the Beard Ghost
A host (Nicole Parker) welcomes everyone to the 2008 Ladies Supporting Women Seminar. She tells the audience that the guest for the show is none other than author Gayle Collins (Crista Flanagan), famous for writing works such as "Finding Your Soulmate" and "Keep Looking - He's Out There Alright." The host finally tells the audience that Gayle is on the show to promote her latest book, "No One's Coming." Gayle arrives on stage, begins to smoke, and reveals that after 20 years of research, she has realized that no one is coming. One woman (Arden Myrin) commends Gayle for her past books, saying she has followed all of the tips for meeting "him" at the supermarket, but finally tells Gayle she hasn't met "him" yet. Gayle tells the woman it's because no one is coming. The host asks why the book was written and Gayle reveals she has a 5 book deal. Her follow-up book is expected to be titled "Sorry I Told You Someone Was Coming." Another woman (Daheli Hall) asks about tips on how to actually find that special guy, and Gayle says that instead, she brought fun patches they could iron onto their sweatshirts. The host is afraid women might resort to something drastic, so Gayle pulls out a pamphlet entitled "Don't Kill Yourself - He's Not in Heaven Either." As the stage audience leaves in disgust, a male audience member (Dan Oster) tells Gayle that she's really special and that her soulmate is closer than she thinks. Gayle shows a sign of relief, when the man gets up and leaves with his wife and child. The next male audience member (Michael McDonald) points out that Gayle is wonderful, and also points out that her "rack" is too small. Lastly, a cameraman (Keegan-Michael Key) tells Gayle that it would be his honor to take her out to dinner. He tells her to meet him outside, when the host asks her who she was talking to. The host remembers him to be Eddie, but he died 3 years ago. The same announcer reveals that we have been watching "The Cameraman with the Beard Ghost."

Credits: Nicole Parker (Host), Crista Flanagan (Gayle Collins), Arden Myrin (Female Audience Member #1), Daheli Hall (Female Audience Member #2), Dan Oster (Male Audience Member #1), Michael McDonald (Male Audience Member #2), Keegan-Michael Key (The Cameraman with the Beard)

REALsports with Bryant Gumbel: Roger Clemens
On this installment of REALsports with Bryant Gumbel (Jordan Peele) and cohost Mary Carillo (Keegan-Michael Key), the duo interviews Roger Clemens (Dan Oster) who was fingered for taking performance enhancing drugs. Bryant and Mary also reveal that not only Roger was fingered, but his wife and children as well. Roger points out that, in some respect, he fingered himself, and is now going to be probed by Congress.

Credits: Jordan Peele (Bryant Gumbel), Keegan-Michael Key (Mary Carillo), Dan Oster (Roger Clemens)

Celebrity Rehab: Talent Show
Dr. Drew believes that it would be therapeutic if the celebrities put on a talent show (and by therapeutic, he means exploitative). Jeff Conaway and the other guys choose to perform a song from Grease, but instead perform their own version known as "Green Lightning."

Credits: Michael McDonald (Dr. Drew Pinsky), Keegan-Michael Key (Phylicia Rashad), Crista Flanagan (Aaron Carter), Daheli Hall (Macy Gray), Nicole Parker (Ashley Tisdale), Arden Myrin (Mayim Bialik), Johnny Sanchez (Wolf), Jordan Peele (Kid), Bobby Lee (George Takei), Dan Oster (Jeff Conaway)

Closing: Bobby & Cast/TDPTTM Outtakes
Bobby closes the show, and outtakes from The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man are shown. Obama tells Mofaz that he must now sleep with John McCain to ensure that Obama wins the presidency.

Credits: Bobby Lee (himself), Crista Flanagan (herself), Keegan-Michael Key (himself), Michael McDonald (himself), Arden Myrin (herself), Nicole Parker (herself), Jordan Peele (himself), Johnny Sanchez (himself), Daheli Hall (herself), Dan Oster (himself)

It's about time a new episode is airing next week. Let's hope all goes well with their post-writer's strike episode.

The taping for this episode is tomorrow evening. I don't believe there are anymore holdover sketches--they used what they had for episodes 1309-1311. Chances are that there will be Music Box footage in the new episode.

In addition to the Celebrity Rehab sketch, you may also see the 2008 American Idol Top 12 Party (Red carpet, with Arden and Bobby) and a parody of the music video "Low" with Keegan as Obama and Daheli as Oprah.

I REALLY hope this episode is good. Like out of the park good. Not decent, not okay, really good. Especially after a five week hiatus, which was after three holdover episodes, which was after a NINE week hiatus, this is the last shot for them.

You might want to emphasize "last" as in definite, last shot. They're really treading on thin ice right now. Even with all of the bitching (amongst fans and with castmembers) I still have a little faith that they'll pull through.

Seeing that makes me think of how good Mad Tv is...seeing the music box makes me crindge. (sp?). This seems like a perfrect ensemble sketch, I'm excited for it.

I realized how much I love Arden in character roles. Nicole's Ashley looks halarious! I really hope she changes her mind and stays on for at least part of season 14.

Well the good thing is that we only have to wait 2 more days to see what MADtv came up with for #1312. So far from what I saw on the website, the Celebrity Rehab sketch looks good. Don't let us down MADtv.

***It looks like--and this is from what I saw from the 1 second footage of the theatre--they're using the MADtv logo from S12. Not that means anything in specific but who knows...

Ok, so what I thought was a music video is actually a performance by "Barack" and "Oprah" on stage, so that's one sketch that is going to be in the Music Box Theater.
