[MADtv] Bobby Lee at the Emmys

I don't know if anyone else saw this but before the Emmys I was flipping around to see what was on the TVguide channel. (I guess that's a real channel now also because the whole screen was filled up and the times of shows VERY small on the bottom) -Anyway, Joan Rivers was doing the red carpet thing and she was getting mad because someone behind her was yelling and making a lot of noise. They were being really loud and she looked behind her and asked who that was.

Eventually someone told her that was Bobby Lee from Madtv. She told him to quiet down I think--he was talking to another red carpet news person at the time. He said something like "Hi joan how are you?" or something. Then I think the news person told her "we're trying to do an interview here" and Joan said something like "Without me there wouldn't be a red carpet!" I just thought it was really funny that I caught that for the little time that I was channel surfing. I doubt anyone else here saw this but just thought I'd share it.

I didnt watch the emmys, but I'm not surprised at how snob-bie, rude and stupid Joan Rivers can be. She's so self-centered and materialisitc... Sucks to be her

I hope so, i hate it how they have the same people at red carpet specials all the time ...namely Ike .... i think they should mix it up alot more.

Wow I saw a clip of this on Jimmy Kimmel and Joan Rivers was like pissed off that someone stole Bobby away from her. She was like yelling at someone and said "You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me, I invented the red carpet." You coulr really tell that she was pissed off. But...... I think Jimmy said that he was there interviewing people and since Nicole was with him she might have been too

This is airing this saturday. Ooooh, Nicole on the Red Carpet. I love it. I just hope they don't air the musical performance this week, having two non-sketches in two consecutive episodes this early in the season will suck.
