[MADtv] Season 11 Cast Announced!

We've been waiting a long time for this, and it's finally surfaced thanks to a bit of sleuthing. The cast changes for the 11th season of MADtv are as follows:

Departing: Spencer Kayden, Ron Pederson, Aries Spears, Paul Vogt

Returning: Ike Barinholtz, Frank Caliendo, Daniele Gaither, Keegan-Michael Key, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Nicole Parker, Jordan Peele, Stephnie Weir

New Castmembers: Arden Myrin, Crista Flanagan

New Featured Players: Frank Caeti, Nicole Randall Johnson

So there you have it. Now, in addition to two Franks in the cast, we also have two Nicoles! Nicole Randall Johnson studied at the Groundlings and has made appearances in tv shows such as CSI, Reno 911!, Felicity and Monk. She also made a brief appearance in the current #1 movie in America, The 40 Year Old Virgin.

And this tiny spoiler comes from FOX.com, outlining what we can expect in the first episode:

For the momentous 11th season premiere, the late-night comedy lampoons Hugh Laurie (Michael McDonald) and the FOX hit HOUSE. The hilarity continues with parodies of Vince Vaughn (Ike Barinholtz) in “Wedding Crashers” and Morgan Freeman (Jordan Peele) in “March of the Penguins” on MADtv airing Saturday, Sept. 17 on FOX.

Anyhoo! Glad to know what's coming to the show. And I'm assuming Steph is going to be a "half-seasoner" or a couple of episodes. Eh. Can't wait to see what the new castmemebers can do. I wish Spencer would have gotten promoted.

No, seriously, is this a last-minute decision on Steph's part, or have we been misinformed all this time? Or am I the only one who's totally behind the 8-ball here? Don't answer that last one.

It looks like she's going to be back for only part of the season, maybe the "4 episodes" that Matt was talking about. The fact that there are another 2 females in the cast kinda leads me to that conclusion anyway.

I remember the new girl from an episode of Reno 911!, she played one of TT's bridesmaids in the "Raineesha X" episode.

YAY STEPHNIE! I'm glad she's returning...even if it is for a limited amount of episodes. And, like Potty, I wish Spencer had been given another chance. To me, her stay was a little too short. Hopefully this season will have some new opening credits...I mean, c'mon 3-if not 4-seasons with the same look seems a little dry. ...Anyhoo, can't wait 'til the season premiere!

T-T is so fscking funny! I actually remember this girl in the sketch. I don't think she really did anything that stood out, but thats because her part didn't call for it. Oh well. I'm sure shes funny.

Too bad about Spencer, I thought there might be a little bit of hope of her coming back, she started to get used a little more towards the end, she was especially in a lot stuff in the final episode, I liked her part in the Bush sketch.

I'm glad Jordan is coming back, I had a bad feeling he was gonna get fired because they don't use him too much. I hope that changes now that Aries is gone, he's one of my favorites and I think he's pretty underrated/underused.

I remember this new girl from Reno 911, she was also in another episode as a hysterical crying woman who had her wig stolen or something, it was just on tv the other day actually. I just hope this doesn't mean Danielle is leaving, I like her too.

I'm still kinda shocked that Ron and Paul are leaving, they seemed to be some of the more popular people in the cast.

That's AWESOME news that Stephnie is back, even if it is for a short time. I'm going to assume that this is what Debra mentioned and that she's only back for about 4 episodes. They'll probably spread her appearances throughout the season.

Nicole Randall Johnson, finally we know the name of the new African American female cast member that we've been wondering about for months. Hopefully she's really funny, although I imagine it's not great for Daniele.

I'm excited to see the premiere, hopefully they give a lot of the new people some airtime.

Boy wouldn't it be nice if Frank Caliendo and Bobby Lee were on the leaving list? I guess they can't because they might need to do some sketches with asians or some more non-funny presidential sketches. *sigh*

Oh well at least there are some new faces too.
